    Embassy wouldn't accept waiver today. They said we had to have finace's court documents and police records translated into English. I thought the waiver was about the US citizen. Oh well, I guess we file next week.

      yep. it involved an arrest that happened 7 yrs ago. it's a messed up situation.

    I'm completely freaking about the waiver and finding a lawyer :(

      We got denied because of an arrest in 2004. We can apply for a waiver to give him a chance to still get over here.

    So, my fiance brought the requested papers to the embassy today. He was told to bring more papers and that most likely we'll be denied. I feel like for some reason they don't want him to come. He's already had two tourist visas denied. I'm trying to keep hope, but I'm starting to break :'(

      Because that is what the woman at the embassy said would probably happen. There's some more papers they are requesting. My fiance will bring them next Monday. We haven't had an official "no" yet. I'm going to contact Congressman tomorrow.
