Well, I got another e-mail today about my EAD being ordered production, AGAIN! Is this normal? I had the same e-mail Thursday...

Yep, totally normal; for my EAD I got two notifications about production being ordered and then a couple of days later a third telling me that it was approved.

Anyway I already had a trip booked out of the country for this coming Sunday with my Advance Parole but I feel a lot better now that I have confirmation that my green card is on its way as well. Good luck to everybody still waiting on a decision.

Actually that is a problem for you. The second they approved your greencard your advance parole became invalid, so you can no longer use that to travel out of the country, and you'll need your greencard (or the temporary stamp in your passport) instead. You might get lucky and still be let back in with AP, but officially your AP is no longer valid for anything.

And I received my greencard in the mail today, and the approval notification in the mail yesterday Good luck everybody else.

I would try. The appointment would be at the same location they do the biometrics at.

Not necessarily true; biometrics are done at your local ASC (application support center), but interviews/infopass appointments are done at your local Field Office. These might be one and the same, but at least for me I had my biometrics in Oakland, and the actual interview in San Francisco (and even the ASC in San Francisco would have not been in the same building as the Field Office is).

Yay, I also just got the e-mail notifying me of card-production ordered for my greencard

So I had my AOS interview today. Our appointment was at 12:45 (in San Francisco), we got there just after 12, so had to wait for a while for lunch break to be over/our appointment time to arrive.

After being sworn in, me and my wife had to show our passports and then the IO went over the entire I-485 form, having me verify/answer most of the questions, and then sign the form again stating that all of it is (still) true. Then he wanted to see what we had brought with us, so we showed him our wedding pictures (he kept the letter-sized sheet we had printed to put in our file), and our joint bank accounts and apartment lease (he didn't keep any of those). After some more chit-chatting about how we met etc, he told us that he needed to review the file a bit more, but that we would hear from them within 30-60 days (and he took the I94 from my passport). He didn't explicitly say that I was approved, but he did went on and tell how things happen when I'm approved (AP instantly becomes void, etc), and said that I should definitely get my greencard on time for the little party we have planned for this summer in the Netherlands, so all seemed quite positive.

Got the notifications on the same date as you, and also got my EAD/AP card in the mail today!

Just received the EAD/AP combo card in the mail. Looks like we're all set to travel in the first week of February.

Same here, just got notification of approval of the EAD after having had the previous two card production notifications (although in my case I got the AP approval notification at the same time as the first EAD card production notification)

Just received email notification of EAD and AP approvals being mailed out (I had previously received EAD card production notifications).

This seems consistent with others posters here: two notifications of EAD card production, and one notification of the approval being mailed out.

Hmm, just got the same notification about document production ordered for my EAD again, only this time with a date that is a week later (other than that word for word exactly the same notification). Slightly odd, although I don't think anything is wrong or something. And with my interview in two weeks I don't really care too much if the EAD/AP gets here soon (assuming I get approved relatively quickly after the interview of course).

Just got email saying that my EAD/AP are approved and card is in production. So it might just get here before my AOS interview.

Yay, just got notification for my interview appointment. "On December 30, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for February 1, 2012, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER."

Finally got my biometrics appointment letter last Saturday, appointment on January 4th. But since I'll be out of town then, I tried to do a walk-in today, and was fortunately successful. The guard here at the Oakland, CA ASC had to ask his boss if he could let me in, so I first had to wait about 20 minutes for him to be available, but then when I explained to him why I was there it was alright, and I was allowed to do my biometrics (which took another 20 or so minutes to wait before it was my turn).

Send my package last week, delivered on saturday and today got three text messages/emails.

Congrats on the interview!! Our interview is on July 14th also in the Netherlands, I am the older one in our relationship too (female, USC) . I wonder if we will get the same questions. I'm feeling really positive about the interview and just praying that all goes as I hope. Did you go to the interview with him? I am unable to attend the interview but if it makes a huge difference I will do what ever it takes to be there. Do you think it makes a difference if I attend or not? Also how long did it take for him to get the visa in hand after the interview?

I went to my interview alone, and it really isn't much of an interview, so I don't think having the USC present would make much of a difference. As long as all the papers are in order there really isn't much they do (the actual time I spent interacting with a CO was probably less than 5 minutes in total, after the first hour of waiting a few minutes to hand them my papers, and after another hour to answer the couple of easy questions). I had my interview on a thursday and had my visa in hand on tuesday (so 3 working days later).

I visited two months or so ago, while my K1 was pending, had absolutely no issues at POE (SFO in my case) at all, only after stamping my passport did the CBP officer ask where I would be staying and made some comments about the long visa process.

Yay, just had my interview, everything went very smooth (apart from the long wait for the family of 7 in front of me that didn't have their paper work in order, didn't know they had to pay $5000, and in general just needed a lot of time), and I was told that I'd have my visa in the mail in about a week!

The only questions they asked me where "where did you two meet? when did you meet? what work does she/you do?", and he commented a bit on the age difference (11 years), but didn't really question it or anything.

Just got a call from the US Consulate in Amsterdam, NL telling me that my interview has been moved up from June 27th to June 16th. That suddenly is starting to make me feel a bit nervous, even though I've had all the paperwork sorted out for quite a while already, and should have nothing to worry about...
