The i-130 was initially approved by CIS around march 2010. After finding out that my husband was not eligible to adjust status in US,we filed 1-824 to transfer the approved petition to NVC.
Three months after i-824 we received NOIR letter asking for more "clear" evidence about our marriage. We responded before deadline. It has been since Sep 2010 that our attorney filed the response with more evidence. By the way what does CIS mean when they ask for clear and convinsing evidence?
Our attorney is sure that our petition will be reaffirmed but we want to know "How long does it take CIS to decide on NOIR?
