    Hi! do you have idea what a minor child needed as supporting documents? my son is 10yrs. old from previous and he is using my name...I have his school record last February,but the purpose is for passport is that valid? or I need to get another one for visa purpose? Thank You!

      Each person has to be listed as the principal immigrant on their ownI-130 and you have to fill out the I-130 A, supplemental information. Everything that is in your I-130 Has to be in the child's with he same supporting evidence.

      My wife got a passport for her nine year old daughter. I think she just took the child's birth certificate. Maybe her own birth certificate as well.
