Just read your thread where you asked about cosponsorship 2 years ago and got negative comments in return. Then come to find out the thread was 2 years old and your K1 visa was approved. That's awesome! Congrats man.

You can apply anytime during the K-1 process for your CENOMAR, as long as your CENOMAR is not older than 6 months by the time of your visa interview. They say 6-8 weeks, but more likely you will get it much earlier than that. I had my fiancee's CENOMAR sent from NSO to the USA and it only took less than 3 weeks.

Not yet. I just called NVC yesterday. They still don't have my case number in the database. So I'm guessing they still didn't get my petition yet. People say it takes 2-3 weeks average for them to get it. I'll try again next week, hopefully they have it. Also, I swear you're going to deal with a few NVC operators who are clueless.

We finally got our NOA2! I would recommend you put in a service request. We did and i guess it worked! Good luck!

We finally got our NOA2 today! We put in our service request (we passed the 5 month mark) and they emailed us 3 days ago... and now we got our NOA2. I guess service requests do work!

Nope. I passed the 5 month mark a few days ago. I put in a service request since my I'm over the 5 month processing time. Got email today... saying my case is still processing and to wait... you guess it... 60 days for a decision or NOA2. Hopefully they don't take their sweet time and can make a decision soon.

Did you put in a service request? You're way past the 5 month mark. You should call USCIS and tell them that you're pass the 5 month mark and want to put in a service request. I did today... hopefully I get a reply back SOON. Sigh...

Hey! Seems a lot of people who got their NOA1 around late April (me... April 26, 2011) have not received their NOA2 yet. I talked to my Congressman the other day and he told me he spoke directly to someone at USCIS and they told him that my NOA2 should be done soon. So I guess it's moving along... just very slowly.

I told him my 5 month mark will be on Sept. 26, 2011. He told me if I don't get my NOA2 by then to call him back. So I hope my NOA2 will be here this week or at least next week. Hey I'm still waiting for our NOA2 as well. Our file dates are almost alike. Our NOA1 was on April 26, 2011. I called my Congressman to help us out. Suppose to hear from him on Monday. Also, I'm stressed out as well waiting for our NOA2. Its not fair that they are already processing June filers, yet we both don't have our NOA2 yet. SIGH!!
