Our beautiful baby girl has arrived on April 3rd!! We are soooo happy and excited to finaly have her in our lives.

Got a case number from NVC today! They told me that they have emailed our package to the Embassy (YAY!)

Then, you will be asked to enter the Receipt number. They will read you the information that you already know and will ask you to select among the following options. Please press 3 for "if you have a problem with your case" and you will be connected to a human being.

So. After you press 2 to check on your status, they will ask you to press 1 if you know your Receipt Number.

But here is what I did to get to the 2nd tier person.
I dialed 1-800-375-5283 and got to the point where I could talk to a customer service representative. Here is what you need to press:
To continue in English press 1 (so press 1)
in the next, choose the option to "check the status of your application" (or press 2)
