We got lucky and received the green card in the mail without AOS interview. If you receive a letter stating that your application is being forward to CA office for faster processing then no AOS interview is needed. GL

My fiance did something very stupid. She withdrew VN dong from our account and cannot find any place to exchange it to US dollars. She needs $ for her medical and the $350 visa fee. Instead of me sending her money using Western Union, she wants to find a place in Ho Chi Minh that can exchange VN Dong into $. Do you guys know any places in Ho Chi Minh City where you can change Dong to $??

I believe as of today no jewelry stores can buy or sell u.s dollars. You must go to the bank to do it.

#16 go to part 2 of the instructions, Eligibility categories. In the space below place the letter and number of the category you selected from the instructions.

What do I put in the three spaces above, again my wife came over on K-1 visa. Thanks !!!

I posted in AOS forum (A6 is what I am thinking) and got couple responses

some were saying C-9 and others said A6

Which one did you guys used?. My wife came over from Vietnam (90days) so figure I post another one here to get second opinion. thanks

One more thing, Nonimmigrant visa number is that the black (control number) or is it the numbers in red on the lower portion of the visa?

Hi, I am in the process of file AOS for my wife (now) that came over on K-1 visa from Vietnam. on form G325A how should I answer the following question:

This form is submitted in connection with application for

A. Naturalization

B. Status as Permanent Resident

C. Other (Specify)___________

If C is chosen what do I put in there?

which one should I check?. I am thinking Yes but I am to make sure. Thanks all!!

My fiance just came over on a K-1 Visa. I used my sister as my co-sponsor and they accepted it. I guess it all depends on who you get at the interview.

Hi all, my fiance came over on K1 Visa about a week ago . I am in the process of trying to complete SS5 form for Social Security Number. On question #5 it asks "Citizenship" Check one

1. U.S Citizenship

2. Legal Alien allowed to work

3. Legal Alien not allowed to work

4. Other

Which one should I check.
