Hi,
I was an Au Pair in 2010 on J-1 visa and now I am married to US citizen. In 2009 I filed 1040EZ form for my taxes, and this year I have a choice of filing taxes jointly or separately. I am trying to figure out which has more benefits for me and my husband, filing taxes "married filing jointly", or "married filing separately"?
Has anybody had the same experience?
Thank you for your advice!

I have already recieved my interview appointment letter, but I haven't recieved my work permit. Is it normal, or something is wrong with my case?

I am so happy! I've got the letter tonight! The interview is scheduled at the local office! I am happy and nervous. Thanks everybody for your help and support!

Ooooh... This is making me so nervous... Still hope I will recieve the letter. If I won't recieve it by the end of the week should I ask for an infopass?

Thanks! I've got more confused, but I am less worried about the letter now:) Thank you.

This is what it says...

have never heard of anyone getting an email notification for an interview. Are you sure it actually came from USCIS?
Oh, yes, it did came from USCIS. There is an option you can enable, when you create an account to check your case status...have never heard of anyone getting an email notification for an interview. Are you sure it actually came from USCIS? When I check my case status on their website it also says that the letter was mailed on Jan. 27.

HI,
Me and my husband filed AOS documents early in December, I've got my biometrics done on January 5. On January 27,2011 I've got an email notification that an interview was scheduled on March 7, 2011 and the notice was mailed on January 27.Today is February 1, I haven't recieved the notice yet. I am very nervous... Could it had got lost in mail? What should I do to get this notice? An email notification has no information about documents needed or the place of the interview. Please, help, I am very nervous!!! Have it ever happened to anyone before? Thank you
