We did not get approval based on social status or anything of the sort. It is a conflict between a K1 & F1 visa which would force her to give up her spot in the school

Yes, we applied to expedite. She is from AR

Look at my post, I filed to expedite the document and they accepted it.

If you have a good reason to expedite, then try it out. You lose nothing.
