Wanted to let everyone know we got approved today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually called my congresswoman on Friday. We were 2wks away from the 5 month mark and I just couldn't wait!! Not sure if that helped, but it doesn't matter at this point....lol. Just glad we got APPROVED. THANK YOU LORD!!!!!!!

We met in a hospital. I was sick and she was the doctor that helped get me better so i could enjoy the rest of the trip. No kids now, however we have plans of having 2 after she settles in and finishes her residency here. I got into some trouble 8 years ago and was a convicted felon. Was sentenced to 3 months boot camp. On the I129 it asks if you were ever charged with certain charges that i was not and does not ask if you were ever a convicted felon. I responded no, which due to me not being charged with what they asked. Just wondering since i am a convicted felon, (for being in a stolen car) would that constitute a red flag, or rfe, i did not lie. The I129f ask specifically if you have been charged with Domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and neglect, dating violence, elder abuse or stalking. Homicide, murder, manslaughter, rape, abusive sexual contact, sexual exploitation, incest, torture, trafficking, peonage,

holding hostage, involuntary servitude, slave trade, kidnapping, abduction, unlawful criminal restraint, false imprisonment or

an attempt to commit any of these crimes, or If you are serving overseas in the Armed Forces of the United States, please answer the following:

I presently reside or am stationed overseas and Have you ever been convicted by a court of law (civil or criminal) or court martialed by a military tribunal for any of the following crimes:

Three or more convictions for crimes relating to a controlled substance or alcohol not arising from a single act. Which i have not been charged with any of these. Your response is greatly appreciated.

I have a quick question! In reference to the police certificate is that obtained by the petitioner, or the beneficary? I am so confused. Thanks

Thanks a bunch! To late for the gray. 1 week in it and my hair has already started falling off!! Once i get approved i will need to visit a hair replacement center...lol

How long does it normally take to receive your NOA1? My package was received over the weekend and i have not received it yet, and the check has not been cashed. Should i worry or just be patient? As i look at others timeline the receive their NOA1 rather quickly.

Looks good - the flight itineraries might not be so valuable because they don't "prove" per se that you took the flight, but if they match your passport stamps, they could be counted for good secondary-type evidence.

Your selection of phone calls seems fine to me too. Hang on to your boarding passes of any future flights. Other than that, I'd say not to fret too much and read up about what's coming the next few months

I sent, pics of our last visit together which was last month, i copied and sent my entire passport with entry, and exit stamps, flight itinerary for the last 5 months of flights, as well as phone bills showing our conversations month to month. The phone bills were to much so i sent the first week of each month, and the last week of each month. One month of phone bills between how much we talk were like 20 pages. What do you guys think?

Thanks everybody! Also i was told that for the K-1 submission they only want to know if you have met within the prior 2 years, and proof of an ongoing relationship is discussed at the interview process. How true is that?

Did you forget to include the notarized version of the letter of intent to marry or did you forget to include a letter of intent at all? You needed to submit two letters of intent, one for you (USC petitioner) and one for your fiance(e). The letters needn't be notarized. If you did not include both letters you will probably get a RFE in 5 months or so from now (or whenever your petition is adjudicated).

I sent my K-1 package into the Dallas Lockbox address and forgot to get the intent to marry letter notarized. Will i get an RFE, or am i just to paranoid?? Thanks

I don't see a problem with that. The check has your Account number and Routing number on it so that links it to the account issued in your name. Good Luck To You

I just mailed my K1 package to VSC and i used a check as the form of payment. I am not a check user so i used my starter checks which do not have any of my info printed on it. I hand wrote my name, address, and phone number on the check. Will this be acceptable, or not? If it is not how can i rectify the issue without them mailing me back the package. Thanks
