Our green card came the other day in the mail and now we are going to relax for two years. I really want to make sure we have everything together in one folder for those next two years. What will we need to save???

We had our Interview on Thursday in Vermont and it took us 10 minutes. They asked for proof that we were living together and kept only two things. He looked at our photos over the course of our relationship. They asked basic questions. Where did you meet? When did you meet? He taped the whole thing and said that we were approved. Stamped my husbands passport and told us the card will be in the mail in 2 to 3 week. Very easy

We filed on July 25 and just got his EAD. The AP says it has been sent, but we think that it is lost in the mail. We have our interview on the 20th....next week.

We did have our Biometrics done at the beginning of the month.

I checked our case online last night and it says we have an interview at the end of October. We sent our paperwork out at the end of July and will be less then 3 months.

We are going to Maine for our honeymoon and if we had more time we would have gone to Hawaii. If you go to Hawaii you need to be careful because some planes connect through Canada. You want to avoid those.

My Fiance had his interview today and we finally got our approval. He should get the visa by next week. Since that part is done with, I am looking into the next step. I know that we need to get married in 90 days of him entering the United States, but where can I find info on the next stack of paperwork we need to fill out. I want to get it started.

That is fantastic news!!!!! It is weird that everyone is getting interview days before us and we have known ours for three weeks now. We are one day after you. (April 1st)

It takes about three to four weeks to process packet 3.

My Fiance told me today and I was going to call the DOS on Friday. Like everyone else said you should call them because it is free. Our interview date is April 1.

That is fantastic news. We still have to pay for our visa and I am trying to get my fiance to call. He was going to do it today, but of course he had to stay late at work. I hope that he gets to it tomorrow.

We never got our packet 3 and we finally sent our packet 3 in early January. It was a month and a half after London sent us our letter that got lost in the mail. Well they said that they were going to issue that last call letter to us in the next few weeks. So you have a good month to get it into London.

I did call DOS today and they said that we are waiting for the interview date. London has logged packet 3. I guess I am going to keep calling the DOS. I am going to try again on Friday.

My Fiance had his medical on the 14th and everything has been sent in at the end of January. How long did most people wait to hear their interview date? They really like to keep you waiting and I hope that we hear something by Friday.

Start getting your other paperwork ready. That way when you get the go ahead you can send it in ASAP.

I will let you know when we get our interview. Everything has been turned in and my fiance had his medical on the 14th. We should hear any day now.

You might want to get over to the United Kingdom board. The next step will be getting the LND number and that was sent to me a week later in the mail or you can call in a week to try to get it. Once you have the LND number your fiance can book his medical, if he has his police clearance. Another thing that you can do is start getting your packet 3 ready and get everything you need for the interview.

I am going to call them this week to pay. I am in the US right now. When I call what am I going to need? Is it just our case number or will I need his passport number?

We never got ours and they sent in out in November. Send in Packet 3.

My Fiance has his medical on Monday. He has high blood pressure and is in the process of being tested by his doctor. He has all of her notes, but he is not yet on meds. I am really worried that this might case a delay in our interview with London. Any advice? I have been losing sleep over this because I a so worried.

I wanted to let everyone know that the mail service is not the best right now in England. I was told that the London sent out packet 3 letter to my fiance on November 16th and then his police clearance was sent out December 30th. He has yet to receive both of them.
