  1. I called a number on the last correspondence i received…think its the extension of my conditional greencard on 9/27/13. Called to inquire on the status. They said that I would be contacted within 2 weeks.

I received an email on 10/1/13 saying I should receive a response on my ROC within 60 days.

I just received an email this morning stating:

On October 11, 2013, we transferred your CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

    Its driving me nuts…protest6wz.gif

This is the email I got from USCIS:

The status of this service request is:

Due to our backlog, your case is presently still pending. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60-90 days of the date of this letter.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

This information is not particularly helpful to me, but then again I didn't expect it to be :).

I think our case is taking longer though because in September they sent us a letter saying that only my stepson (and not my wife) had to go to the ASC for biomoetrics again!! So we did that last week and it turns out that they didn't take his fingerprints the first time we went because he wasn't 14 yet, when actually he was 14. But, hey, oops, their mistake again, sorry. I like missing out on a day's pay and taking my kid out of school to go to their office anyway (sarcasm) Argh!

  2. Saylin wasn't part of CSC-TSC tranfers, but was closely and diligently updating our spreadsheet for us. In fact it was only today I found out- only Gnasher was able to penetrate NVC from our group.

Hoping things will get better..especially tonight, more so for those who received the wonderful email from the Angel Officers...I didn't, but will be happy to hear of you guys approval.

Yeah, it seems like USCIS/TSC is the only one doing any penetrating around here...

  3. Just got a call from my congressmans office, they were told that my case is now waiting for the 1-130 supervisor and that i should have an answer in less than 60 days. Has anyone heard anything similar or have any idea what this means? cause I dont. Is the supervisor the one who has the final decision on approvals?

I got a 45-60 day timeframe from my Congressman's office last week. They contacted TSC again today and got the same timeframe, but they've never said anything about a supervisor.

  4. have you contacted your embassy/consulate????????

your timeline shows a k-3, which means if they aproved your i-129f and not the i-130, the kk-3 is sitting at consulate/embassy waiting on YOU for interview, NOT at NVC

Email your consulate and start to communicate with them now if you are going the K3 route. K visas do not go through the NVC. The Consulate will call your spouse or deliver her a packet as soon as it arrives. But it's best to email them now and ask about your case.

  5. i think even after our spouses are here we need to keep campaigning... put a FACE on this like Wade has done will make it real for people, showing people and telling people "it took me X amount of time to LEGALLY get my spouse here" will shock most people...

i have a homeschooling friend right now who is trying to bring her 2 adopted babies here and STILL waiting... gimma a break, what kind background check do BABIES need? these children will be toddlers (literally) before this process is done!

this whole process tests ties and damages relationships...

I agree. I tell everyone that I know about how difficult it is to get your wife and kids to the US legally and they are all apalled. I will definitely continue this fight for as long as it takes for there to be some kind of change. I just not right for the gov't to break up our families like this.
