I called a number on the last correspondence i received…think its the extension of my conditional greencard on 9/27/13. Called to inquire on the status. They said that I would be contacted within 2 weeks.
I received an email on 10/1/13 saying I should receive a response on my ROC within 60 days.
I just received an email this morning stating:
On October 11, 2013, we transferred your CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.
Its driving me nuts…
…
This is the email I got from USCIS:
The status of this service request is:
Due to our backlog, your case is presently still pending. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60-90 days of the date of this letter.
We hope this information is helpful to you.
This information is not particularly helpful to me, but then again I didn't expect it to be
.
I think our case is taking longer though because in September they sent us a letter saying that only my stepson (and not my wife) had to go to the ASC for biomoetrics again!! So we did that last week and it turns out that they didn't take his fingerprints the first time we went because he wasn't 14 yet, when actually he was 14. But, hey, oops, their mistake again, sorry. I like missing out on a day's pay and taking my kid out of school to go to their office anyway (sarcasm) Argh!
-
Also, according to the USCIS website, our case hasn't been updated since March 14. I'm starting to worry because it seems like most people have already gotten their cards...
-
Hello. We received a letter saying my stepson had do his biometrics. Problem is he did them back in April! Other than this, we have received no notifications about his case and its status is still initial review. Has anybody else had similar problems?
-
Hello All! We got a letter yesterday saying that only my stepson has to go to Baltimore to get his biometrics done, but he and has mother already did their biometrics in April. ANybody else have this happen to them? I'm strarting to get concerned because it seems like many on the March fllers have already gotten the cards and we haven't.

Thanks! Just waiting on a CC now from NVC...
Grats on the number! Do you mean Feb 11? Cause Feb 10 was two days ago, not yesterday.
Yes! February 11 is what I meant to say. It was Friday. Thanks
-
has anyone else who was shipped to NVC on the 8th got their NVC number...I have not :S
I got my case number yesterday, Feb. 10.
-
Got the same! Oh, my Godness...
Me too! It's a miracle. I hope we can get our case numbers soon

Only 22 more days until the 90 days are up since my NOA2.
We may need to pester our eleted officials again. 90 days is much too long to wait. We've already waited enough because of this CSC to TSC mishap. When are these people gonna get it together?
-
Well, here we are again... waiting on TSC. Let's see how long they take this time.
-

what was reply given to your congressman office?
Both times they told me to wait 45-60 days.
-
Did you have congressional intervention??
I had my Congressman call last week and then again today. I don't know if they did the trick.
Thanks for all the congratulations and thanks for all your support!!
-
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Just got 2 text messages, one at 12:13am EST the other at 12:15. We have been apporved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally!!!!! It is about f***ing time!!! I wanna see more approvals on here when I wake up though!
-
Sorry, I should have used a better term. GOT THROUGH???
HAhahhahaha!!
I'm sorry. I just can't ever resist a subtle sexual inuendo...
-
Yeah, I feel like GOATSE...........
If you have no idea what that is, be CAREFUL when you Google it. You've been warned.
Oh Man!!! That is just... That is just the way I feel right now too
-
Saylin wasn't part of CSC-TSC tranfers, but was closely and diligently updating our spreadsheet for us. In fact it was only today I found out- only Gnasher was able to penetrate NVC from our group.
Hoping things will get better..especially tonight, more so for those who received the wonderful email from the Angel Officers...I didn't, but will be happy to hear of you guys approval.
Yeah, it seems like USCIS/TSC is the only one doing any penetrating around here...

Perhaps the Magic Eight Ball is what's really used when our applications are considered for approval every week
Hahaha!! I asked the Magic Eight Ball if TSC would approve my petition this week. The answer: "Outlook not so good." The Magic Eight Ball must be well aware of the fiasco at TSC...

Just got a call from my congressmans office, they were told that my case is now waiting for the 1-130 supervisor and that i should have an answer in less than 60 days. Has anyone heard anything similar or have any idea what this means? cause I dont. Is the supervisor the one who has the final decision on approvals?
I got a 45-60 day timeframe from my Congressman's office last week. They contacted TSC again today and got the same timeframe, but they've never said anything about a supervisor.
-
I just got this in response to my e-mail to TSC on Friday
Hello,
Your I-130 petition is pending, awaiting final review. Please be assured that we are working proficiently, as we are expeditiously on each case.
Thank you,
Officer Carole
Ha! "Expeditiously"? Someone at TSC is having fun with their thesaurus.
-
of course, and I hope there is a pattern. I would love for everyone to get approved overnight...
I wouldn't be surprised if TSC reads this thread and sends us the Garza email just to get us off their bakcs for an hour...
so either it is an email to appease us or it will truly help our case get reviewed? I sure hope and I want to believe that it is the latter...
-
have you contacted your embassy/consulate????????
your timeline shows a k-3, which means if they aproved your i-129f and not the i-130, the kk-3 is sitting at consulate/embassy waiting on YOU for interview, NOT at NVC
Email your consulate and start to communicate with them now if you are going the K3 route. K visas do not go through the NVC. The Consulate will call your spouse or deliver her a packet as soon as it arrives. But it's best to email them now and ask about your case.

i think even after our spouses are here we need to keep campaigning... put a FACE on this like Wade has done will make it real for people, showing people and telling people "it took me X amount of time to LEGALLY get my spouse here" will shock most people...
i have a homeschooling friend right now who is trying to bring her 2 adopted babies here and STILL waiting... gimma a break, what kind background check do BABIES need? these children will be toddlers (literally) before this process is done!
this whole process tests ties and damages relationships...
I agree. I tell everyone that I know about how difficult it is to get your wife and kids to the US legally and they are all apalled. I will definitely continue this fight for as long as it takes for there to be some kind of change. I just not right for the gov't to break up our families like this.

Please take a look at this petition and sign it. It is for people like us who are suffering because we fell in love with a foreigner. It takes less than a minut to sign.

Thank you.

Signed it. Thanks for posting. Did you post on other forums within VJ and other similar sites?
No, I didn't. That would be a great idea.
