I am a f2a beneficiary and we just got approved today! it's even my daughter's 5th bday today, thank you Lord for this wonderful blessing! Goodluck to all of you! Keep the faith and keep praying! :-) Happy holidays!

I AM SO HAPPY, THE FEELING IS SO OVERWHELMING, I GOT CASE COMPLETE NOV 8 AND I MADE A REQUEST FROM THE NVC AND MY CASE HAS BEEN EXPEDITED LAST NOV26, IT WAS THEN SHIPPED TO U.S. EMBASSY MANILA AND GOT A LETTER FROM U.S EMBASSY LAST DEC7 THAT I CAN MAKE A VISA APPOINTMENT THEN FROM THERE I KEPT CALLING THE HOTLINE AND KEPT EMAILING THE VISA UNIT, WHEN YOU REALLY WANT SOMETHING, YOU HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING SO YOU WILL REALLY HAVE IT! AND FINALLY, WE GOT THE APPOINTMENT LETTER LAST DECEMBER 13 AND WE ONLY HAD 10 DAYS PREPARATION TIL THE INTERVIEW DAY! WE TRAVELED TO MLA FOR MEDICAL FROM DEC 14-16 THEN AFTER 4 DAYS, WE TRAVELED BACK HERE IN MLA AND IT'S SO TIRING AND VERY STRESSFUL AND SO MANY MIXED EMOTIONS. IT'S EVEN MY DAUGHTER'S 5TH TODAY AND DIDN'T PLAN ANYTHING FOR IT BECAUSE MY FOCUS IS THE INTERVIEW, BUT IT WAS ALL WORTH IT. WE MADE IT! :-) THE INTERVIEW LASTED FOR ONLY 5 MINS AND WE WERE DONE AROUND 8:30AM! GOD IS SO GOOD! THE BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT TO MY DAUGHTER AND OUR CHRISTMAS WILL BE REALLY MERRY! :-)

I am an F2A beneficiary and my daughter and I will be having our interview this coming thursday, I am just wondering do we need to bring new sets of ds230 forms because we already passed that together with the civil docs in NVC before, I am sure it's with them already, do we need to fill up new sets again?.. if so what will be the date will i be putting? but re food? hmm..im not sure now,but when i had my interview,

there is a small food store inside the embassy where you can buy food & drinks..

thanks for all the info! :-) is there a place where we can surrender cellphones? coz i need to bring it coz i don't really know the place and if i am done with the interview i need to stay in touch with my friend for the directions...

We will have our interview this coming Thursday and I am just wondering aside from cellphone, are foods and drinks NOT allowed inside American Embassy Manila? Because i am planning to bring bottled water and some biscuits for my daughter. Hope you can help. Thanks much! :-)

hey congrats you are one of the december interviews which was not affected by the retrogression... any info on your priority date? i think for f2a filers its easier because you have already established relationships rather than on k visas where they havent really established a lot of history. so your interview will be just on what you wrote in your application.

application on DS230, is that what you meant? priority date is sept2008. thanks much!

Hey guys! I am a F2A beneficiary and my daughter and I will have our visa interview in 3 days in U.S Embassy Manila. Any help or insights for the possible interview questions?
