  1. I haven't been on here much and didn't really ask many questions to people but just wanted to say that my fiance(e) had her interview today. We have been waiting 2 years because she had the 2year HHR on her visa. I visited her last year and she came here early this year on a B2 visa so we got to see each other while we were waiting. She didn't think she'd get a visit to come over while we had a K1 visa going but I told her it never hurts trying. I did all the paper work myself with the help of this great web sight and some of the great people on here. Anyway, Long story short.........She's approvied!!!!! :dancing:

To all of you that are waiting, do your paper work take as many pictures as possable and keep your Skype and QQ records but trim it down so it's not a novel. Make at least three (I say four) packets so you both have extra ones and can go back to it if need be. Just be true to each other and never this small thing keep you apart!!

  2. She has a lawer helping her to look into it fully but from what I read about the waver I just don't see it happening. So if we continue the K-1 she will be denied at the interview? Her lawer is telling her to go a head with the K-1 but I dont think thats a good idea. I guess I'm falling into a place that not many people know what to do.

  3. I have a question as to what to do now. My fiancee and I have everything ready and about to send in packet 3 for the K-1 visa. After looking at the DS-230 and seeing the 2 year HRR I checked her visa and find she is under that rule. Come this Sept. she will be out of the U.S. for a year. Now my main question is what to do. I've read about the HRR and about getting a waver but to me it seem's highly unlikely that she can get a waver. We have one year down and only one to go so my thoughts are to stay with the K-1 and finish the year out. Should we stop the K-1 for now and then start it back up next year or should we just go ahead and finish the K-1 paper work? If we are approved for the K-1 will it still be valid when she comes over next year? I wouldn't think so because of the 90 days. She was thinking she could just come over here get married and then go back home till the 2 year HRR is finished but I told her they wouldn't let her in the country in the first place because of the 212(E) visa. And if she was to go back home without filing for AOS she wouldn't be allowed back in the country and then we'd have to go the K-3 route. Any and all input is welcome.

  4. Ok, I understand the address part. As far as her working in the US, she was here on a work visa (J-1) through an agency. They give them option's of what city's to go to and what type of job's the agency provides. She worked at a casino (contract worker) and has a SS number. To me she would have to put the agency's address and not the casino's because she was employed and paid by the agency.

Also, I'm not sure about her address. This is how it's written Zhuwu Cun, Heshan, Yuanzhou, Boluo.

Thank's for the help and will check out that websight.

  6. I have a few questions about this form. We are trying to fill it out and keep seeing things we missed. Is there anyone that has one filled out by someone in China? She is having a hard time filling it out. The main questions we have is Citizenship/Nationality....she is in mainland china and she put P.R. China. Is that right? Other question is on the 6th question "Applicant's residence last five years". She live's in a dorm but still has her address as her home and not the campass. So I would think she needs to put her home address. Then under "address outside United States" it should be her home address again. Also where do u get a file number or just write None? She did work here in the U.S. but they put her in a Hotel and not an apartment so there would be no address for when she stayed here. Any help we would appreciate.
