both the I-864 and I-1864A must be done if you are planning to use the stepfather. i forgot to mention that you should also get employment letters for the petitioner and the stepfather stating how much they earn and how long have they work in their current job and the pay stubs for the last 6 months.

they are wrong. the petitioner has to fill out the I-864 even if he has no income and the I-864A is meant for co-sponsor. Make a letter stating that the petitioner has no income. Make sure to request the tax transcripts if the petitioner has ever filed tax in the past three years, if not make sure to mention that in the letter.

Hello Pars. I had my stepdad co-sponsor my case and it was quite simple. although i didn't know then so i got delayed a couple of weeks because i didn't provide proof of my relationship with my stepdad. 1>. Fill out the I-1864 and have the stepfather complete the I-1864A (only your stepfather, You don't have to use the Mother's income.)

They don't have me as a dependent. I do my own taxes with no dependent. I'm posting this template so that you'll know what to do. You have to add your income with your stepfather's in the forms and i suppose you live with you parents so they'll make 4 people with you and your husband. the poverty limit for 4 people living under the same roof is $30.000. so you should be...
