hi everyone!

at this point I dont know what to think anymore, so many days, weeks and months without sleeping and with so much stress, dont know when this nightmare is gonna stop.

my 6 months were may 1, i called and of course they didnt have any info at the call center, so i did an inquiry and they gave me a confirmation number, the robot in the call center said i should hear from them in the next 30 days.....so, in may 11 i receive an email from uscis telling that i did an inquiry and i should hear from them in the next 60 days ( so who is right the robot or the email???), anyway, last week i called and finally could talk to an agent 2, this very nice lady told me my change of address havent been updated in the system correctly, which is confusing since i did receive a letter from uscis to my new address confirming the change i did online. her advice was to just do the change of adress again for the system be able to update, i did it right away, the 2 days later i made my husband call and they told him to tell the address again cause is not update, so my husband says the whole thing again but this time on the phone with agent 2.

so, on friday i got 2 letters from uscis telliing me about the change of address,,,,,so what????, why they dont say something about my case???, whats wrong??, i dont care if they call me for interview, altough i would prefer they coming to my house and inspect every part of it to finally conclude i am truly married to my husband. i dont care, i just want a damn answer!!!

Dont' worry gigi673, if you made an inquiry and they sent you an email saying that a decision will be made within 60 days of the email. you will definitely hear something by then. And for the change of address, don't know what to tell you, but keep on calling and make sure that they have the one that you did change online, and if you haven't done so, give them the confirmation number you was giving when you changed it online because that's your proof.

Well it finally happened.....just checked our mailbox and got an approval letter in there

I have been checking the online case status periodically over the last few months, and even today it hasn't not been updated since December, so for those who are still waiting, do not count on their online status. I even signed up for text message notification and didn't receive anything, but I guess it really doesn't matter at this point.

when i went to infopass to stamp my passport with 551 extention the offecer said since my GC expired he took it from me and stamped my passport one year and i didnt like that but he said its no longer working and he must take it ...

Yeah since your friend will be checking your mail, enjoy your vacation and don't worry. Just make sure that you can take the first flight in case you have an interview. And for the expired green card you don't need it anymore since it has expired. So no worry about that. Have a safe trip.

God is good Dedee you will hear something before your 60 days end. I mean what's the worst that can happen? Maybe you getting an interview and i am sure you will do just fine. i know the wait is not easy but trust it will happen. God Bless you.

Hey friends i have received my new green card yesterday., and on my case status they also said they sent me the approval letter on tuesday which i haven't received yet but it's all good. I am happy. God is good. Can somebody please update that. Thanks. And God Bless those still waiting.

Hey friends i am tracking my new card through usps, i called customer service and they gave me a tracking number, now i have a question, it says that the card has arrived in my city. and the status of it says: Sorting complete. If anybody has ever seen that on their package tracking can you please explain it to me?

Does it mean that the package is out for delivery?

Also checking your timeline you needn't worry, I think it is rare that it is lost. You'll get yours in the mail very soon. Stay positive.

hey friends i got an email today stating that this May,20 2011 my card production has been approved . it has been a long journey. for those still waiting have Faith it will happen. God Bless. will keep you posted once i receive my card in the mail. Can somebody please update my approval.

I have been reading the past posts, and I wish I found this website when I was applying for the I-485!

It is a definitely a huge comfort reading that other people are going through the same experience.

My story:

I am the US Citizen petitioner and my husband is a Bulgarian national.

Married - March 2008

Sent I-751 to VSC - January 6th 2011

NOA received - January 11th 2011

Biometrics - February 1st 2011

Since his Biometrics, we have not heard a word from VSC. I know we are only 5 months in, but I heard that an inquiry can take up to 2 months! Have any of you contacted VSC about your case? And if so, who? Or should we wait to contact after six months has passed?

Well i am a november filer. i filed on the 19th of november 2010, and my biometric was on the 3rd of january 2011, since then i haven't heard anything from them (VSC), I really don't know what's going on. I called several times just to make sure that i haven't received anything, that i didn't see or something but they told me to wait until my six months passes. Frustrated, i call them on march the 30th to make an inquiry, the next day i received an email from USCIS saying that i should hear something from them within the next 60 days. The 60 days are going to hit on June 1st 2011, while my 6 months timeframe that they give everybody filing for I 751 will hit on May 22nd 2011 which is the date of my NOA1. i am so confused because people that applied after me, are getting approved and nobody can even tell me where my case is. So i guess all we have to do is wait until our 6 months hit and then call their 1800 number again. Or if anybody got some suggestions please feel free to respond. But trust me i feel you frustration.

I'm with you guys, no touches, nothing, and I'm trying not to stress about it, but I find myself checking my status way too often. Very annoying to see December filers being approved in recent days when they haven't finished November. Happy for them, but what's up with that?

I just called their 1800 number (customer service) talk to a representative,explained my situation and she did the inquiry and the next day i received an email telling me that i should receive something from them within 60 days of the mail. At this point patience is key.Even though its really hard. i find myself checking status way too often to. Yeah wait until the 19th and if you haven't received anything by then just call customer service. Hope we all get approved really really soon coz this is a stressful situation.

Waiting... No RFE. No interview request. Not even a touch. I can do a service request at 6 months. Being in this limbo is really uncomfortable. I am trying not to let it get to me. I have to assume there is something wrong.

If not, i guess i will have to call customer service.
