after we received a email interview, we never received a physical mail copy in the mail.

5 months before proposal !!!! Met APril 2010 and Proposed 5 months later on my Bday.......

I filed in Aug 2010 and received recieved NOA 2 the first week of Feburary 2011 (6mths). We have a interview date scheudled in June...By that date it should be (10 months) !!!!

I"M SENDING IT TOMORROW!!!

The information is in packet 4. You must pay the $350 USD ( in Jamaican dollar equivalent) non-refundable visa fee to NBC (National Commercial Bank Limited) and obtain a receipt, that you take with you to the interview.....

My Fiance have a interview coming up soon.He recieved packet 3 in the mail stating there is a visa fee he has to pay. Do we pay this the day of interview?? or prior to interview ?? If so where do we pay this fee?

Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!Thats exactly what the email is saying.. you should be receiving the NOA 2 in the mail within the next 2weeks.

I have a quick question my fiance is also a jamaican resident and we received packet 3 abount 1 month ago. We emailed and mailed a signed copy of the D-230 form to the embassy and still havnet received a response with a interview date. I sent several inquirys within the past 2weeks and i finally got a response today that stated they recieved the form and thier system will assign me an interview soon.

Did you go through the same process.

Do you know how long that will take and what should we expect.??

Jamaicans do not send mail to there house only to the closest post office. You must use the PO address or he or she wont recieve the paperwork they need. Just don't write PO.. Thats what I did and we had no problems.

Waiting also !!! NOA1 JULY-23rd and still not NOA2 !!!! very depressing X-Mas ! So many plans all ruined

I understand how you all feel, i received my NOA1 letter on Aug 11, 2010 and waiting is the worse feeling ever. I literally check my status every day and my patience is running out!!!! Im just hoping i get good news b4 for christmas.
