I-693? No Vaccinations, bloodtest and Tuberculose test. Only if the Tuberculose test is positiv or he had it a x-ray is required. They also did an x-ray with me and afterwords i found out it was not nessecary, got my money back. But often they try to rip you off.

Did you say they are on greencard, because as far as I know they have to be US Citizens. Don't forget that your spouse still has to fill one.

I thought as soon as you get legally married you need to apply for a Greencard, but I guess we all only have a half knowing. Maybe someone will asnwer you with the same exprience, but I am sure there wont be to many problems.

If you go to University they mostly have free immigration lawyers or people that know about that stuff. We also ask one when we weren't sure about one form. Also most normal immigration Lawyer offer a free consultation.

I think it can get lost everywhere, you can never be sure. What happend, it was stucking in the facility here in CA, but obviously they found it after I called. But yes, if you deliver via UPS or Fedex send it to the address in the 3rd floor, also with USPS delivery sign confirmation.

What I am going to do, I send now everything with USPS Firstclass mail.

But now everything goes fast, they already cashed the checks.

An Advice for all the others, do color copies. I did not, if its lost I have to do all the picture evidence again.

And also my Civil Surgoen was awefull, I don't like to go back to him to ask for a new form. They did so many things wrong. Probably he would also charge me for that and let me wait again for over an hour.

I guess the F-1 wont work if you are married. And if you have time until summer you defenetly will get you visa and workpermission until then.

Hey,

I have sent my hole file I-485, I-130, etc. last Thursday via USPS Priority and Delivery Confirmation. The last update was one week ago that it went in the facility here in california. After the 5 workdays I called and they try to locate my mail now. No news.

Has someone expiriences how long it can take or a suggestion when I should start over again.

Am I to worried? My Visa expiered last week.

Of course she does not have to sell the house, but when assets will count. A House is an asset, right? Right! And how far I have understood it has to be worth 5 times as this what you need. And its not like we would use her to have a nice life and live from her money. The money is not the problem, the problem is where it comes from. So we will see what the lawyer has to say.

I know that was not really the right treat with K3, but the forms are still simular and everything is so confusing. My mother in law does not have enough income but some assets (apartment, car, timeshare) and on Monday we have a free consultation with a immigration lawyer at the university from my husband. So hopefully it works out.

I am going to file for the greencard soon. Our concern is that my Husband is a student and his student loan and grant is not enough.

Has someone expirience if they only count the loans that he gets on his bank account or the total what also his Unsiversity gets? I have been here for almost a year with a student visa and we often transfert my money from Germany to his account. Does this count too? Does all income on his bank account counts?

Unfortunatly we does not have any co-support from an american (his father died and the mother is disabled), we only have support from Germany.

Hopefully someone can give us some tips how to proof that we have enough.
