I have posted this question somewhere in one of the topics here...I just forgot which one is it

I guess I'll just ask it again

we had our embassy interview last week and were asked to send additional documents, we sent the documents yesterday(saturday). they(embassy) didnt give back our passports..is that a good sign??

and how long will it take for us to receive our (hopefully) visa stamped passports??

I hope someone here has an idea coz its really frustrating me...big time.

We went on an interview last week at the US Embassy, we were asked to submit additional documents such as secondary proof of relationship, we are under f2a category, they did not give our passports back, just the white slip(paper) indicating what we should be sending them. we are able to send the documents needed yesterday(saturday).

my question: how long will I be waiting again for our passports with the visa to be delivered? and does that mean that we will surely be given a visa?

Its so frustrating that we have to wait again, and does anyone here knows where I can track if they're processing our papers already?

Hi! Newbie here. I just have a question. Our case was completed last April 9, 2012 and our PD is October 27, 2006. How long do we have to wait to have an interview schedule? Thanks in advance

just called NVC..still no news...said they're still working on cases prior to 08OCT09 and couldn't give predictions for the next vb........let's give them some more time, I'm sure they'll release interview schedules these coming days.....let's keep the faith. GOD is GOOD.

i got a call from my courier service :/ they said ur visa has been approved and u can pick up your passports

from the SpeeDex office with ur token number ...

i wonder why i didnt got any call from Embassyy :S

My Interview has been scheduled for 3rd April @10:00 AM....

Called NVC and operator gave me good news and immediately receive email in 5 mins...

In email attachment I was asked to bring latest tax return of sponsors.

Thanks all who were following my PD and praying for my interview letters.....

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

That does not mean anything..I'm not trying to discourage you or something. But the fact is the NVC operators are not aware of the future visa movements. Even today so many called them and they told them that they are still working on the cases before 22Jul09..

They asked you to call you in April is just their standard response. I wish you get your interview as soon as possible. Good luck..

we were excited because now we know that our priority dates will be current by May. True that they(NVC operators) are not aware of the future visa movements but WE are because we've been exchanging news about the progress of everyone's cases which is a very big help. The NVC operators are required to give current infos and not predictions that's why they give same answers to anyone who is inquiring.

I pray for you and everyone to get theirs as well....let's stay positive!!!

If they ask you to call on the first week April, it means your schedule would be on the month of May. They give out appointments 1month in advance. I am 100% sure, we will be interviewed on May. Let us prepare the needed documents as early as now. Good luck to us. PD 23 Oct. 2009.

one more thing... please enlighten me... when he filed for our petition he didnt included our 1 yr old son with the payments...someone told him that my son will automatically be included in the visa processing as long as i will declare our son... they said we will be paying 2 for visa processing..one for me and one for my son... . is that the IV fees? im confused... i dont want my son be left here of course... big thanks for ur time n concern.. appreciate it much
