Well yes you should keep and bring the forms DS156 et DS 157 with you for the interview.
Did you send the packet 3 already? Because I don't want to scare you but for your wedding in October, it might be short to get your visa...
Good luck anyway.

Your son must go with you at the embassy beacuse all the people who are leaving with you must go to the interview

Hi everybody,
I got my interview at the US embassy in Paris last thursday so it's been a week today. Is it the normal amount of time to wait for the visa after the interview ?
We are so close and even the interview went good (in my opinion) I would be so upset and dispointed if I would fail so close...
I guess I just need some reassurance...
Thank you...

I waited to receive the Packet 3 from the embassy. Once it is in Paris things will go fast...

Hello everyone,
I am having problem with the DS156 to print it. As I saw many time, I get the pdf file but only the answers and the barcode appear, not the questions. I have been trying so many times but nothing always the same result? I couldn't find any solution, Does someone have one? I get my interview thursday!!!
PLEASE NEED YOUR HELP!! THANK YOU

Maybe you can have a look at this link from the USCIS website:
-
Yes you have nothing to worry about because unfortunately things usually don't go that fast. You have plenty of time before your fiance gets his interview scheduled.
Look at this link : http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow it will give you an idea of how long each step is going to take.
From now you have only thing to worry about is being patient. Good luck!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR ANSWERS.
It's also because I am preparing my draft.

I read that on another website.
It should be ok if he has a valid visa.
He must bring evidence that you applied for a K-1 visa and he doesn't inted to stay because he is waiting for a fiance visa.

Hi everyone,
I have several question about the form 156K:
- About question 26, How long do you intend to stay in the US ? => Can I answer "forever"?
- About question 30, Have ever been issued a US visa ? => I have been in the US before but because I am french and it was short stay I did not really have a visa. Shoul I say "yes, tourist visa" anyway?
-About question 32, Do you intend to work int the US? => Of course I do but then they ask the name and the complete adress of US employer but I have no idea. I am still in France and I don't know what kind of job I will get and I don't have any contact. What should I answer?
Thank you for your help.

I don't really think it is a VSC or CSV matter because we are january 2011 VSC filers and we have been approved after 2 months and a half. If everything goes well I should get my visa by the end of july then It would be 7 months to get it.
I don't know what we have that other files don't or what we don't and other do but... If it was a VSC problem why we would have been approved and you?
We have been very surprise to receive our NOA2 and I wish that everyone has the same great surprise. I know it won't make thing go faster but I wish good luck to all of you.

And how much is it?

Hi everyone,
I have question about the ID photos. On the US embassy Website, it says that ID pic must be at least 51X51mm but I did my pic in automatic machine "photomaton" and my pic are 45X35mm. Is it important? Will they refuse my pic?
Thank you

From the NOA1 to NOA2 = 92 days was quite short I still wonder why for us it was taht short but I don't complain at all

We met a year ago while he was in France. He is 34 and I am 26.

Sorry this has nothing to do with visa but I am fithing for days to know to include a "ticket factory" in my signature.
It doesn't work. Could tell me how you did?

There is also something I'd to say to many of you when I read your histories.
I want to say BRAVO to those who were able to maintain their love despite the distance and time between them.
I give you all my respect for them and the strength of their love.
I wish you all achieve your goal and never having to endure this horrible and destructive distance.

Hi,
There is a website expatriate community, the living aboarde website by expats for expats. You could find people with you nationality and where you live.
I wish it would help you.
Good luck!

I meant, if both governement don't consider my citezenship form each other it's ok if it's allowed. I 'd like to have the US nationality only if I don't have to renouced to my french nationality.
Can I have a 10 years green card and stay in the us without the americain nationality?
What if I don't apply for the naturalization ?
My passeport expires in 2013 and I should get my visa by the end of the summer. Do you recommand me to renew my passport before I leave? Will it be a probleme if i gave a old passport to the embassy and the new one the POE?
Pourquoi notre dossier stagne à NVC depuis 1 mois???
