  1. Thank you!

He is in the PA National Guard so we don't live on post, which is why we are still with his parents ( We were gonna move out when I got my GC but seeing as how he might leave before I get it, plans are all kinda unclear right now till we actually find out when he's leaving).

I just got to the US, and currently we are finalizing all AOS documents and wedding plans, so that we can file for AOS right after the wedding (April 2nd).

    Thanks for the info..

hi my husband s n military to,just filed my aos last december then month after i filed my husband deployed n okinawa for 10 months,i dnt request a expedite for my aos but in 2 months and 3 weeks got my green card approve,b4 i sent my aos package i make sure i got everything all the papers i need and on my cover letter i put a statement tht my husband will soon to be deploy..i think theres no problem to file aos even ur husband is going to deploy just make sure u have a copy of ur husband order so incase they call for interview u have it to show them, but mine i got approve without interview..and i got approve not even 3 months and i dnt request for expedite...

  2. ay

Welcome to the world of green card ownership. Congratulations. You will get it in about 5 days and it will come in a standard envelope, not a USICS one. With the green card you will receive a small metalized envelope to keep it in to prevent it being read electronically in your purse or wallet.

I assume you came into the Us on a K1 visa and your application had been transfered to CSC. Thats how most of us are being processed at the moment. There are a few unforutnate people who have had RFE's, ask Miss Jess.

yeah i came here n K1 visa...and was transfered to csc last january 26 been wating for biometrics for 2 months but worth it 1 day after biometrics got approve my ead..then 3 days later got my ead card on mail then yesterday got notice from uscis a card production for my green card...

  3. hello guys i have question im just confuse and nervous last last monday i recv a email monday 2/28/tht they approve my ead then yeasterday i got my ead card n mail then just now i recv a email about my aos card/document rpduction then an hour after i recv another email say

    Decision

On March 4, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

my question:its mean they approve my green card?or i still have chance for RFE,Interview and Denied, just confuse to all guys tht got their green card already its the same?and if u approve how long they will mail the card, coz on my ead i got approve notice last monday then yesterday got my ead card...

  4. hello i just wonder if anyone here tried to get drivers permit without green card?my green card still processing but my ead its already approve and need to wait for 30 days to get it n mail so now im just thinking if i can take the written test for drivers permit just to print the site says my card is production and also bring some reciepts from uscis, theres anyone tried this way just cant wait for my card n mail.i tried to call my dmv office here but no one answer

  5. So I just got off the phone with USCIS & it actually was a pleasant call, the girl was very helpful.

As I had just got into the 30 day period for 765 & 131, along with bio for 485, she put in a request for action (I think) on all 3 cases. Sadly that means if I haven't heard anything in 30 days I need to call back, but fingers crossed that the request kicks it into action.

Anyone else have any thoughts or info that sounds similar?

same happened to me its been over a month since i got my NOA hard copy and dnt have my biometrics appoinment so i called uscis about it,then 3 days after i called i got my biometrics appoinment on mail,i dnt know its because i called or maybe because my local office are busy some people have there biometrics 2 months since they filed their application,i think its depend on ur locan office my biometrics appoinment is on feb 23 and i filed my aos on dec 10,and got my NOA on dec 22..some people are lucky to got their biometrics done already

  6. i recieved my biometrics appointment today and will b on feb 23 and also recv a transfer notice for my I-485 suck is my A# of my I-485 is wrong i already called them about it when i was rececieved my noa hardcopy i noticed tht my A# is wrong so i called them right away and then they told me they will fix this problem.then now as i noticed its the same A# on my NOA its the wrong one i guess need to call them again grrrrrrrrrrrr

  7. hope i will have my biometrics appoinment letter this week,so i can call my local office if i can go early walk in bcoz my husband will gone for 3 weeks start on 12 his going for his field exercise training,i dnt drive yet for sure i cant go for my biometrics, its so stressing i process my papers in stress time on march my husband will going for his deployment and gone for 8 months, and im sure by the time his going his deployment my AOS papers not done yet,and i really wish and pray my papers will done b4 my husband will go deployment i really pray its possible and i wish i can drive tht time, see my situation so stressful i dnt even want to think about it,

  8. just some question is the uscis address tht on the NOAs is the local office where to do biometrics or interview?im just curious coz my NOas local address is in Missouri office and i live here in Mississippi,as i search the nearest local office here is in Louisana which its only an hour drive compare to missouri its will b LONG DRIVE so i wonder if the local office address in the NOAs is the address to do biometrics

  9. Yes, call them, as soon as possible. If the A# is wrong on your AOS application it will not match your records for your K1 and may lead to problems down the road with removal of conditions, etc.

It may be nothing, but to me that's an important error, and anyway better safe than sorry. And the NOA1 does say to call immediately if any details are incorrect. Better to check it out than suffer a delay later!

yeah i called them right away and they said they will send a request to the fld office about the error of my A#

  10. Grrrhh posted my AOS same day. I suppose yours arrived two days ahead of mine so maybe by Thursday I will get notification.

i sent my package dec 10 and sign dec 12 but till now dont hear anything yet...im worried hope i get update today or b4 christmas,im nervous coz firstime we sent out package last nove 19,they rejected my whole package coz my I-485 form is not updated so we resend it last dec 10 with the updated forms and new fee,so stressing i really hope tht my green card will approve b4 my husband will deploy this coming march and need to get liscence

  11. thnks for the reply i dnt know why they put tht single remmitance coz i include the i131 and i765 to my aos package its say theres no additional fee or i131 and i765 i made the cheque or 1010 becoz i sent it b4 nov 23 so i made a payment for aos and biometrics for one check 1010 i follow the instruction how to write the check so i dnt understand why in my rejection notice they said tht single remmitance,

opps sorry i dnt read it well now i understand why thnks so much for the info

  12. This is tricky, so bear with me. There is no filing fee for the I-131 and I-765 if they are filed concurrently with an I-485. If the I-485 is not accepted (yours wasn't) then a filing fee would have been required in order for them to be able to accept the I-131 and I-765. They mentioned in your rejection notice that you sent a "single remittance", which means one check or money order. In that case, when one form is rejected then all of them have to be rejected. They couldn't separate the payment for the I-131 and I-765 and return the payment for the I-485.

Here's the kicker. If you'd written one check that included the filing fees for the I-131 and I-765 then the package would have been rejected for having the wrong fees - no fee is required for the I-131 and I-765 if they are filed with an I-485, so adding the fees to the same check would have been an overpayment. If you'd included the fees for the I-131 and I-765 on separate checks then they would have CASHED THOSE CHECKS and ACCEPTED THOSE FORMS, even though they were returning the I-485 and the check you wrote for it. They would also have ultimately denied both the I-131 and I-765 (but kept the fees) because there was no underlying I-485 that made you eligible for either AP or employment authorization.

In a nutshell - they returned the I-131 and I-765 because you didn't pay the fees for those forms separately. Trust me, that's a good thing. If you'd actually paid fees for the I-131 and I-765 on separate checks you'd have been throwing away money, and they would have been denied when the I-485 was rejected.

A W2 alone is not sufficient. You need either a copy of the entire tax return (1040, W2's, any additional schedules included with the return, maybe some 1099's) or an IRS transcript of the return.

thnks for the reply i dnt know why they put tht single remmitance coz i include the i131 and i765 to my aos package its say theres no additional fee or i131 and i765 i made the cheque or 1010 becoz i sent it b4 nov 23 so i made a payment for aos and biometrics for one check 1010 i follow the instruction how to write the check so i dnt understand why in my rejection notice they said tht single remmitance,

  13. I had the same prob - out of date I 485 - Just redo the i485 via the uscis site and send whole package back in including the rejection notice (keep a copy for yourself) and then all should be well.

They will mark every page with writing down the side. Don't worry about it just send it all back with new form :) It would do you good though to make sure all the forms are current though before sending again. Just incase...

thnks for the reply, yeah i check all my forms and now i redo it do i need to send them back the lastform tht they write?or just with the new form and the rejection notice?
