Oppsie... Sorry late reply. Interview was a success. It wasn't as difficult as other's. We were like telling our story to a friend but our friend is jotting notes. Get it? We were not asked with some unusual questions but we were ready just the same. Anyways, you should be fine. Be calm and feel relaxed while talking to the agent.

Received AOS interview appointment letter last week (05-03) as well as EAD card (05-06).

Received Biometrics Appointment Letter yesterday (03-21). Appointment is on April 14th. Yey!

USCIS received AOS, EAD and AP on 03-15. Check encashed on the same day. Do we start counting days from this date or the date on the letter? Note: We have not received the letter yet.

I got my SSN and went to visit USCIS civil surgeon to accomplish form I-693. We paid $170. Is this same with others?

Yes, I used my new last name.
I just brought our original marriage certificate, my passport with I-94 attached to it and the accomplished form. The personnel asked for my birth certificate but I didn't have it. So if you have it just bring it with you. FYI, I read online that you just need one proof for your identification and the passport was it already. -

We got our marriage certificate. We're planning to get SSN first then file for AOS, apply for State ID and Driver's license. Is this ok? Also, I hope to begin working soon. Do I need to apply for EAD?

Hehehe. I forgot to update this. I got my visa on the 26th. I left for US on Feb 1st. We got married on the 9th... AOS here we come.

I received USEM "eligibility" letter last Jan 8. It was dated Jan 5. If I waited for the letter then where in the process would I be now? Hehehe thanks VJ. I didn't really need the letter after all.

I paid for my visa application fee today. Can I not use it yet to book a schedule since I have not completed my medical exam yet? Is there like an expiration date for me to use this payment?
