  1. Hi,

i don't know if its a problem or not. here is my question. my wife came last October, so its been 3 months only shes been in the country. we have a her father just passed away in the Philippines. is she allowed to go back home for a couple of week and come back to the U.S. is there a process we have to take to get approvel for us to go. or is it as easy as getting tickets to go and come back...

    thanks...

  2. my wife had here interveiw yesterday and thank the lord she was approved. But also once again I would like to THANK THE FINE PEOPLE HERE ON VISAJOURNEY, i could not have gone through this process without your help, now let me repay people here by helping them with their journey.

the interview went great. the guy was really nice, from what i heard. he did ask alot of questions about my family, like where both my parents work and what they did (i thought that was kinda weird). then he asked my wife where i worked and what i did. where we met. when and where did we go on our fist date. the normal questions i guess. he didn't ask for any paper work just for photos, wedding pics really. and it was done. he told my wife to wait for the visa in a about a week...

I REALLY CAN'T SAY IT ENOUGH

    THANK YOU THANK YOU

  3. Your wife needs to bring a copy of the NVC letter with your manila case number, pictures, ballpen, passport. The filipino overseas class is what she also need before she left the country. We call it CFO seminar..you can check it on philippine government website with regards to CFO. Additional questions feel free to ask...=) or add me in my YM mhrzl_mt =)

thanks you very much, i will look into it....

  4. I wish you better luck than I had...I thought for sure we sent everything possible except for blood samples and just received 4 page RFE...Best wishes for you that it is something simple like missing something on the form or one item that they want....and yes, calling USCIS isn't going to help much unless u go way up the chain...

yeah, getting answers or info from the folks at USCIS is very hard... and ya i hope what they ask for from me is something simple....

    thanks...

  5. Hello Friends,

here is the latest, its been 76 days since i received my NOA 1 for the I-130 i filed. yesterday i got and update on my case, USCIS is requesting for evidence? so when i saw this i called USCIS customer service line to find out what kind of evidence they were looking for and the gal at USCIS couldn't really give me an answer.

so my question is, has anyone here know what might they want or what kind of evidence they are looking for? and how much longer will this hold up my NOA 2?

    Thanks

  6. I would give it at least into next month. When mine was being processed we were going at least 5 months average and as DanTes mentioned there have been issues with TSC. I would go the thread that was mentioned and see what is happening with other people going through TSC.

hello, ya.. sounds like thats what i have to do, no choice but to wait alittler longer...

    Thanks....

  7. When you call this number 1-800-375-5283. Mon - Fri I think they are there until 6pm PST I think.. it doesn't state time zone... When you get a live person ask for an Officer or Tier 2.. :hehe:

hello, i just called and they just told me the same thing, wait 120 - 180 day before calling... i don't know what else i could do but wait...

    thanks.....

  8. When did you file?? Was your petition transferred to TSC?? If so, check out the forum IR1/CR1 - California Service Center to Texas Service Center. A lot of people having problems now with their petitions filed in June/July/August.

I sent the papers to chicago then it got transferred to TX and I think its been there. So now I don't know whats going on. I think it's more of hurry up and wait..
