My father s b2 visa has been put under AP since February 15,2012 almost 9 months.

They went together Mom and Dad to the interview, my mom had 10 years b2 visa and they told my dad that his visa is accepted but they have to do some investigations I m wondering how long these will take and if anybody know a number to call and ask about my father s case I really need them to come see me

    Thank you so much

  2. hello

today my husband received an email from uscis:

Your petition was forwarded to the National Visa Center (NVC) on ....., for consular processing. As of this date, we have not received the petition back from NVC for review. Once the CSC receives the petition back from the NVC, we will send a notice of receipt to the address of record.

For questions regarding your petition, you will need to contact the National Visa Center. Please send any further correspondence to the following address: NVC, 31 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909. Direct any telephone inquiries to (603) 334-0700. You can also email the NVC at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

we called the nvc and they said that they not have our file and it is at the consulate and we have to contact them.

but when we call DOS they say still under AP

  4. hello Vjs

today i received this email from us consulate morocco:

Thank you for your e-mail inquiry. Your case is still pending and we cannot tell you exactly how much time the processing will require. The State Department's goal is visa delivery no more than 30 days from the time of application in most cases, although cases that require administrative processing could take longer. Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of application. When administrative processing is required, the timing will vary based on individual circumstances of each case. Therefore, before making inquiries about status of administrative processing, applicants or their representatives will need to wait at least 90 days from the date of interview or submission of supplemental documents, whichever is later.

We will contact you as soon as we can continue with your case. Please let us know if further assistance is needed .

my question is are they talking about week days or just business days because i m on AP since february 14, 2011

and if my math is corect I have well over 90 days whatsoever week or business days

plz help what can i do

Thank you for your email inquiry. Your case still needs administrative processing , we will inform you as soon as the processing is complete.

25 days after i sent another email here is the answer:

Your case is still being reviewed by the consular officer and we will contact you as soon as the processing is complete.
