  1. I believe the Philipphines will accept a Co-Sponsor IF an Immediate Family Member of the USC.

You maybe able to answer your own question here. What did your Finace make last year for 2010 Taxes (Gross Income) and what is his Currant Year to Date from Wages in 2011 so far?

Having 2 Children does not add to much to the requirements. I'm not looking at the guidlines but maybe $24,000.00 or less.

For last year 2010 I'm sure that his income didn't reached $24,000.00.. this 2011 he works 27 days and earn $15,000.00 as a pipe fitter. His a contractual worker and not every month he always get a job and that worries me.. :(

  3. Hey all,

Anyone use co-sponsors in their cases for K-1? Would anyone know if it is a bad idea to black out the social security number for my co-sponsors or does it need to be showing? Any experiences with this or information on this?

ill be using co-sponsor sis im also on k1 but know yet about that... Please keep me updated... :) good luck!

  4. Thank you very much for all your responses. I really appreciate your help.

I will be very excited if he got the ticket already.lol.

As of now, he is still searching for one way ticket. The cheapest he found was USD842.00.

Thank you very much. Right now, I need to get CENOMAR copy. Does it need to be new? I have CENOMAR but I got that copy last two years ago?

    Maraming salamt po.

    :)

you should get a latest cenomar... cenomar is valid only for 6 months..you should get a new 1...

  5. @Scott and Mhay, thanks for the links. My fiance is planning to live here as much he wants. I mean, he has no plan to go back in states immediately. Let us say. he will here for one year. I do know if we have to pay monthly for the visa extension.

    hello there!..

you will going to petition him and he Can apply for temporary resident visa at any local immigration or in manila, and it costs more or less 40k peso and valid for 1 year and if he plan to stay more he can apply for permanent resident... :)

heres the link for temporary and permannt res..

    hope this will help!..

  6. I know the validity of the petition approval is 4 months. Is it possible to extend it? My fiancee has a illness in the family and she may not be able to complete some of her requirements when she recieves packet in time.

yes! you can re-schedule or ask for extension :) thats what it says in the letter i recieved from US embassy manila..just got approved last feb. 1 ... we are going to request for an extension also. but we didnt called yet. my case is i am pregnant and im going to give birth here phils...

  7. You have 1 year to schedule your appointment. Trust me on this, I waited 5 months to schedule my interview.

But I am not sure how the annulment thing will factor because you should have both been single and free to marry when you applied, so they might look at the dates (time of filing vs. date of annulment papers) and this might not work in your favor. I hope it works out though, goodluck..

hello messybrownhair- are u sure about this sis that we have 1 year to schedule our appoinment?.. hope they grant us our request.. :)

  8. Hello All,

My petition was approved and sent to the US embassy in the Philippines and they are waiting for my fiancee's physical and appointment for an interview. But because she has a "slight" problem with her cenomar, like she is married (I have a post from a earlier topic about this and got my answers) so we can't move forward until we can fix her problem(like get an annulment), my question is this: Who and where do I ask for an extension on my petition? I still have until April 20 before it expires but this annulment process will take many months but I hope before a year is up. Thank you for any help.

    Jerry

IS there any news sir jerry?.. I would like to request for an extension also, we have defferent reason mine is Im pregnant and i would like to give birth here. hope they grant us an extension... God BLess! :)

  9. hello Vjers!..

We received our NOA2 last feb.1 2011. and now i just found out that i am pregnant for our 2nd baby.. my question if time comes for my medical, are they going to allow me to take it even that i am pregnant?.. for vj members who has been through this please share your experience!... :)

  10. its not his step son.its our son...

Keep in mind this will be abandoning the K-1 case and you WILL be starting over with filing for a CR-1 visa by filing an I-130 for spouse and filing an I-130 for step-child.

Note if child is 18 or older at the time of marriage, then husband will not be able to petition for "Step child" and step child would have to remain behind, this is NOT the case for a K-1/K-2 case, however K-2 child would need to adjust status before age 21.

  11. My fiance is here with me and my son in the Philippines he will be here for 6 months. Our K1 case still in process and were waiting for NOA2.(almost 5 months but still no NOA2.) We are thinking about getting married here in Philippines so he could apply for a permanent resident,is that possible?- because it would be cheaper to apply for permanent resident than to spending money for his extension of stay fee's for 6 months. he really wanted to be with us for long time and yet also he wants us to travel together when my visa gets approved. whats the best thing that we can do?.. please help!..

Any response and suggestion will highly appreciated!:help::help:

  12. hello guys!..

i just wanna ask if the NOA1 from the email and the Hard Copy usually got the same date or not?.. I am wondering because the NOA1 or the Receipts they sent to my fiance by email was dated aug.03 and the same date at USCIS site and it says "On August 3, 2010, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case.".. And by aug.11 my fiance received the copy of our case including the receipts and was dated July 19th..i am wondering why they got different dates..I don't know what date should i follow either July 19 or Aug 3, we may have to call them in case if still there s no NOA2 on the 5th months. please for those who knows about this case please explain..Thank you!..

  13. hello vj members!

is it fine that my fiance will visit me here while were waiting for NOA2?..what are the important things he need to bring that i can use/bring for my interview?..he misses us a lot specially our son and he cant wait for more months to be with us..so sad that the system now is to slow, it will be 5th months on dec. 19th since we received the NOA1 but still no NOA2... :(... Thank You guys!..
