Yes, one answer is good, when I/O ask me what does the declaration of independence do?
I try to answer all of them but she stop after telling her the first answer.
so basically it depends on I/O, but good answer is never take a chance
good luck

Hello VJ Members
By Blessing of GOD and VJ Members help i pass my interview test on February 5th. My new baby born on 3rd of this month, so right now I'm on vocation from my work, just wondering i cant apply State Disability to run some bills before becoming a Citizen
I know my wife she applied before when my 1st baby born.
so question is if I'm eligible for State Disability does it effect my Citizen or any other kind of issue, I mean in future if I petition for my Mother or Immigrant relative does it effect.
Appreciate your reply

Yes, Kzielu is right. My interview is on Thursday and wife is pregnant, so no chance to take her with me. now the point is in this case it's not necessary that she comes with me, but if your wife easily join u that's plus point for you showing good relation.
and don't forget to share ur interview experience, GOoood LUuuck !

I did not said that if marriage is illegal in UK law and its legal in US.
I mean to say that sometime people (in this case) they marriage in UK and registered marriage in there home country not in UK, for that point it should be notarized and translated.
my marriage took place in Pakistan and wife she did not change her status in her documents, so when i went for interview in embassy that start cross questioning ....., also requested for marriage certificate in English language attested by "Union council " authority and also by lawyer, that the word by word translation is authentic and true.
so that's i ,mean not forget to stamped it, obviously i know that if ur legal marriage is acceptable in ur religion, is acceptable to other embassy.
-
If it is not a legal marriage in the place where the marriage occurred, then it's not a legal marriage for US immigration.
It doesn't matter that it's legal under Islamic laws. The marriage has to be legal in the UK.
Its matter that it's legal under Islamic laws, coz in Islamic religion, there is some kind of restriction, so if will a question asked by the I/O during interview in embassy.
they have the knowledge about ur religion.
any way if ur documents are stamped u will be fine.
-
Yes, There must be a stamp by the authority that its authentic, I think the marriage certificate is in English Language if its not than u have to translate it and should notarized it.
and also ur wife has to change her status ln documents.

HI VJ Members
I apply for N-400 in September 2014, while filling the application i provided all the documents (whatever they think i provide them with application), unluckily forget to send the state issue ID. so when they send me the yellow letter they just mention to bring the state issue ID.
Now on 20th Feb i received my interview letter (they call me in Sacramento office), In the letter it says
"Must bring letter , Green Card, Passport, marriage certificate, spouse birth or neutralization certificate"
and also received N-659 form (Neutralization interview Document check list ) asking for IRS 1722 letters and bla bla bla ....
I only have IRS return request transcript (which i ordered couple of days ago). so question is do i have to orders these form also and also there give option to bring 5 years or 3 years tax papers.
logically I'm in USA since 2011 (3 years) so take only 3 years tax papers or 5 years (last 2 years wife filling separately)
also in last month i receive a letter from state that my wife she owe some money from her 2010 tax return like $50, (some kind of parking ticket), so i paid that amount through website, so the I/O really looks and ask for those issue.
and do i need to take a copy of N-400 application which i submitted at the time of filling application.
thanks for replying

My wife is US citizen, I'm being married with her from last 4 years but staying in America with her from last 3 years, My all family Mom Dad & siblings are in Pakistan i'm the only one in US.
now i cant figure out the answer of this question
were your parents married before your 18th birthday?
yes or no
Is your mother a Us Citizen ? No
Is your father a US citizen? No
Really appreciate ur reply

Yes I recieved the NOA 1 letter which says my "my legally stay in the USA extended for 1 year ", but u have any idea how long it take to issue ma a new GC for 5 or 10 years
and also i saw some if the post about " I 751 Nov 2013 filters " whats that mean
Thanks man for replying

Hello VJ members
My GC expire on 11/20/2013. I filled the I 751 form with all necessary proof, send packet 3 days earlier USCIS send me back packet with remarks of too early, wait for 3 more days finally send the packet again they cash out check.
Call me for Bio-metric took my picture, finger prints, now I'm still waiting for any decision or any update
.
Now my question is, some one file the case in August and get any update or how long i have to wait, & second thing is I can still work with GC expire or i need special permission from USCIS ?
Thanks VJ members

Hi VJ team members
my POE is November 20 2011 i get my SSN card in after one week and i still not get any welcome letter and my "GREEN CARD" i call at USCIS office they said that u wait for 30 days if u don't get then call back
any one can tell me whats the matter and any other tips how i immediately get my Green Card
thanks for replying

The actual scenario is when u qualify for visa they nothing give to just CO said that "Congratulates to u u got visa" nothing else but the purple color token is pasted on everyone passport back side, this token is pasted for receiving the passport from Amex nothing else and the other types of token means that u got AP and there's different conditions of AP, so it depend on ur case requirements nothing else
if CO said u got visa it's fine else if u receive any token/paper given by CO its mean u got AP.

Hello VJ Members
I'm filling I-864 form only for my mother, Me & my wife we both work & we filed joint tax since we married, now this year 2016 she only worked for 3 months & now she is house wife & I'm the only one has job (self employed 1099 no w2). now I'm really confused about these question
1) my current individual income is estimated? right (I'm making more than 125% of I-864P form poverty )
2) do I need to show my wife income (whatever she makes 6 months ago she is currently house wife $0) ???
3) if yes than she need to fill I-864A form right
if no than check no 17
(one or more people do not need to complete form coz he/she is intending immigrant & has no accompanying dependents)
4) For most recent three year income "means total joint income (husband wife) or only my income ???
thanks for replying, appreciated
