  1. hey congrats hope me and mt wife had the same good end , did you find it desreve all this hurts and long prosess we go throw lol , did they treat us bad over there like at us embassy in cairo ???? or bad treatment at airport like we hear before , god be with you man

well i think usa is beautiful as a`tourist but to live in may be it is risky also it was not that hard in the airport and about racialism well it depends who you are and howdo u deal with people

but anyway it is risk it has to be done i still cannot give final decesion but i guess i ve got no other option than to take the risk

  2. i am sorry but let me add this information taking the passport is indication for nothing well me negibour didnot leve the passport and he was asked to submit it in 3.5 months actually his ap was 4 months

for my case my interview was too sort 10 minutes with congratulations and total assuring that it wouldnot take long and i was asked to leave my passport well till now it is 5 months actually 153 days 20 weeks no visa and embassy keep saying i am still under ap even i was asked in febrauary (the embassy was said to be closed but he called me )to submit new medicals even i still under ap

so who knows why i ve been neglected or my case is pending by te way i never left egypt before and my medical and police certificates are clear my father who is petioner is an engineer well reputated about 70 years old retired

so why i am in ap that long i donot know msybe my fist name ahmed or last name abdel rehiem may be but who knows

  3. well actually all my family are usc wheremy dad and mom and two young brothers well they tried before but as you know the senator never can help in circumstaces like these in egypt where the embassy is almost closed and working 3 hours wit emergency stuff also in teneessee the senators there never pay care for immigrants

anyway i again thank you so much atlease it is better to find one in same boat with you to chat with ,really thanks i wish for you and me and all others the best and the end for this long journey well atlease you can know nice brothers and sisiters as you ,well let us share informations and keep updated see ya

  4. actually not all the case but it was said to me it must pass some security checks done in washington dc. but the problem that i ve heard lately that it ended and returned back to the embassy but unfortunately the embassy is closed working with emergency stuff which could result in a some deays

whar really concerned me was the retrogression of fb1 category in the latest visa bulletin but to my surprise

i amnot fb1 anymore althought i am 29 years old as i was converted to IR2 by the embassy i guess under cspa advisory opinion

  5. TODAY I WAS ASKED TO UPDATE MY MEDICAL REPORT THE TB PORTION WHICH EXPIRES USALLY AFTER 6 MONTHS WELL ME MEDICAL EXAM WAS ON 10 AUGUST 2010 AND MY AP IS NOW FOR 117 DAYS

I DONOT KNOW IS THAT MEANS I AM ABOUT TO HAVE MY VISA AND AP FINISHED OR IT IS JUST A REGULAR ROUTIN TO UPDATE ANY EXPIRED DOUCUMENT

  6. 4 weeks is the general reply in cairo usa embassy and if u insisted to know a time frame the will tell u 4-6 weeks well i am stuck for 75 days about 10 weeks with no reply so my advise not to count alot on what they say ,well i do know that every case is different and i cannot neglect the fact that some friends i know had it quickly but they still to be the odds ,well i will not forget some of the stupid replies i heard one day for pregnant woman having all papers and married to her cousin(usc) and they still need to make sure of the credibility of their relationship so just pray god

well on the good side when i called dos some days ago i learned there was a slow down for christmas vacations but all returned to normal so this will lessen these delays , i hope sooooooooooooo

  7. well i donot know whether to thank you guys for comforting or shall i share the suffer with you

well really it is somehow comforting that i am not the only onw who is suffering from this monester AR in cairo embassy

well the journey started on 11 nov 2004 when my family decided to apply for me well it is my dad ( usc petitioner ) and mom (usc ) and two younger brothers (usc and lpr) immigrated to the us leaving me alone for more than seven years on a hope to catch them someday and as i reached te last step in the cairo embassy i was put in the adminstrative review well the kept my passport and white notice that i will get my visa 4-6 weeks and now i am in the fifth week nothing received ,well really i thought to call and say i really wanna cancel my immigration i am fed up the whole seven years and i donot want stay in this false dream any more , so what review they need if i didnot leave egypt since i was born or this a kind of torture to all middle easterns , really i am about to send a letter to the embassy

asking them to send my passport and i donot wish to have the honour of visiting holy america .if it were not for my family who are counting the days till i come

whatever i will wait and wait nothing except wait ,what a really wonder about is that the egyption authorities take much shorter time to give this clearance or name check ,thought i hope they they can train the american employees or give some advises or training courses or may be more technological scanning equipments may be it helps .

i called the dos today ,well some lady replied in a very rude way telling me tht i didnot

finish te 60 days waiting althought my interview 31 october 2010

so i ve still wait and i hope not in vain

  8. well counelor officers seem to happy new year eve while thousands of immigrants are seprated from their familes for many years ,well sounds unfair to me , well i was promised that i will ve my visa within six weeks tomorrow is the begining of the seventh week and as usual i learned that the estimated period can reach to 3 or 6 six months and even

more than one year i feel am appying for a doctorate and really if it were in the immigration rules i guess i can earn it with good grades

  9. Actually, I am so sorry to hear that but the thing you should do now is to ask your mom and dad to contact their congressman. when congressman is inquiring the situation of your case the embassy act faster and they do their work more efficient.

please keep us updated and isA very soon you will be with your family :)

thanks disconnection for the reply ,well really you are doing a graet job here as the number of pepole stuck in the complicated immigration procedures is increasing really i admit on reading your articles i somehow aquired some knowledge about some points especialy the difference between ap/ar

anyway i knew from some connections and trustful websites there will be more and more complication in visa issuance till the end of christmas ,well there are alot of threatens and fears that what happened the last christmas from the nigerian guy last christmas can repeat again and this will be the end of obama especially after the scandel of wikileaks there could be any sort of revenge from the usa so whatever any immigrant will do will never be effevtive until the end of christmas you know national security always come first so i guess waiting till the end of these days may be better anyway in cairo
