sorry i couldnt write before more about my experience cuz i was celebrating , well looks like it just took me exactly 3 months and 1 day im still need to go for my ceremony though. well my interview took about 20 min and all questions before the test was about my ex relationship becouse i was applying in basis of 5 years PR, when we meet ,how long we stay toguether, when we got divorce , who made the peticion for divorce, why we split out, looks like they got my ex files from before to corroborate everything, then she asked me about the n400 just some few questions after that i got the test which were 1 one state borders canada, 2 what year the constution was written, 3 the speaker of the house of representative, 4 i dont remember the last 3 more question i was still nervous but i got all 6 right jeje, she made me write ( how many us senators do we have, then we have one hundred senators) after that she congratulated me she told me that i passed and then make me wait outside for a letter of when would be my outh ceremony i just wait 5 more min

I just had my interview and was about the same case, my first question soon i was swore was :

why did you get married? !!!

how come you moved after couple month getting your gc?

why you never decided to got back to your country after the divorce, bc you did not have family here in us.?

who filed for the divorce?

do you promise you didnt married in order to get the gc??

The IO was an american lady very professional.

I never though about these question i was kind of surprised ... but i explained on every answer my relationship and i was really secure in every answer too... she approved me and i got my oath ceremony letter same day .

Hi i just got today my letter NOA im happy well at least the beginning for the process so i can check it online now. i sent money order becouse someone said was better so they can cash it right away and procees your package the same day..well i will see if that is true or who knows..i will keep updating my proccess to share it with everybody.

One good reason to pay by personal check besides having to run into town and pay a couple of bucks for a money order. USCIS has some deal where your application is not accepted until the check clears and they do this instantly with an electronic transfer. The instant that happens shows up in my account, already printed out the check as proof they received and accepted the funds, and have proof that indeed we paid the fees and they accepted them just in case they misplaced our application. Not that they already have misplaced our application twice since we started this process.

Wrote on the back of the check, N-400 application fee for my step daughters' name and her alien number as additional proof.

Practically any bank in town, think we have more banks than bars, offers free checking with a minimum balance, but they don't pay interest. So just keep enough in there to pay my bills and the minimum balance. The rest goes into our savings account where we are earning an incredible 1.5% interest.

Finally first NOA arrive today.

Hi NickD it seems that we have sent the n 400 the same day and at the same office. i dont have any answer yet.

I payed the form with a usps money order.... so i dont know if uscis has cashed it or not.i can not track it.i hope everything is fine and they cash mine today like yours.
