Why does your daughter have to wait 1 year? I thought the medication is for 6-months only? Did somebody took her to another doctor instead of going through St. Luke's extension clinic to get the medication?

i came here to the US almost 2years ago, I had to leave my 3yr old daughter then because she had a primary complex and wasnt able to complete the medical exam in st.lukes, they told me she needs to go under medication and to come back after a year. It was the hardest thing i had to do. so 1year later just this november my daughter went back to st.lukes to undergo sputum, according to my now 4 1/2 yr old daughter she had a hard time coughing up sputum. she went through it, and because she is a child we didnt had to wait the 2month period for culture on the sputum test, we only had to wait a week and another week to release the medical certificate and vaccinations, after another week mu daughter already had an interview date, and finally dec.3,2012 she was approved, and coming home to the PHilippines despite the ridiculously expensive plane ticket, im finally gonna be with my daughter and we can finally start our life here in the US. i hope my daughter's story can help anyone in the similar situAtion. . . u know, same thing happened to me. . .i dont know what country you're from but when I went to the interview I told the pre-screener that I'll have to change the address on my DS230 and she just erased the old one i wrote but then I told her that I brought an extra ds230 with the new address we have, and they just took that. . .and everything went ok. . . hope it helps,

I think thats once NVC has forwarded your case to the consulate the NVC will be out of the picture and you'll have to contact the emabassy. . . correct me if i'm wrong

hi guys! my journey has finally reached the end. i got approved. the interview went very well. the consul interviewed me for like 2mins. He didn't ask for any additional evidence except for some pictures and then he said im approved ! goodluck to u guys! just stay confident!! God Bless and thanks for the countless advises and help!

i had two friends who went through their interview with their husbands tax return just like your's and mine. . . my husband's ITR was also filed single because that's what IRS told him. we will just amend when i get there. . .goodluck to us!

sorry, not wearing any glasses. don't stress too much if you're pregnant. you did it before so as other people. if you did ok on your evaluation i'm sure you'll be fine. . . don't lose hope until you've gotten the results. . .

sis she said "she attemped suicide once before"...but hope everything will be fine and they`ll just give a psychiatric exam after her psychiatric evaluation,,in that case, if she pass the exam then i think its a proof that she is normal...(psychiatric exam is a whole day test and you`ll pay php3,000 for that)....

if you didn't attempted suicide, and answered truthfully on the psych evaluation i don't think you should worry. I hope it's ok if i ask, what kind of art was the scar? is it like a tattoo? don't stress so much. . . i read somewhere here in VJ with the same situation as yours and she had a positive result on the medical. I'll try to find it and send you the link. Hang in there.

i'm a bit confused, some people say medical results are valid for 6months but st.lukes told me it's only valid for 3 months. anyway, if it's 6 months that's good news . . . if your case is close it should be around 2 weeks before you get an interview date

u just have to do it. . .take the CFO seminar, and then DFA. She's gonna have to renew her passport. better do it right away, passport system here in the Philippines is really slow. my daughter's passport took 2months.

yah. . . i also did an advance medical. . . just take it with her to the interview. St.Lukes will forward the result to the embassy anyway, her passport should have her PDS barcoded sticker and a stamp from st.lukes so she'll be fine. .

she's on IR2, its a personal choice that she stay and continue her medical with her pediatrician. we live far away from Manila. we don't know anyone from Manila. And we've decided that it's best if she stays here finish her treatment and go to pre-school.

what should i bring to my interview? should i bring, original ITR's? W2'S? etc. . . i just wanna complete everything i need before my interview to avoid delays. . .thanks in advance
