Hi Guys,

My Interview is monday and I'm getting really nervios, Uff hope everything goes good, and finish this process already.Does somebody knows how often are the Oath Ceremonies in West Palm Beach, fl?

Yeah, making an appointment now for a walk-in at the passport center today. I know we're not at exactly 14 days yet, but we need to mail our passports off for visas too, so I hope they'll let it slide a few days early.

Hi everybody,I received a yellow letter last week, and today my online status change to TESTING AND INTERVIEW, does anybody knows what this means? will I receive an interview letter or I'm in lane to be schedule?

Well, my interview was yesterday in Cleveland. I ended up arriving freakishly early, so I chilled out at a deli for a bit. Went to the federal building STILL earlier than I should have, but I figured I might as well stay warm in there and watch the news on their tv

Interview itself took maybe 15 minutes. I was asked for my green card, passport, '09 tax return. Funny part was, the officer was the same guy who interviewed us for the greencard.. I guess he figured he'd seen pretty much everything else before (apparently, my file was riddled with his notes, based on how much red ink I saw on those pages). He did ask where the hubby was, and I said the hubby was at work. I didn't see the point of using up vacation time just so he can wait in the waiting room.. I opted for name change (he had an issue with my names, and was all "Well good thing you want a name change, because..")

In any case, at the end, he handed me a sheet of paper saying both tests were passed, approval is recommended, yada yada. Should get oath taking letter in maybe a month. It wasn't bad at all.

And this time, when I left the building, there were no men lying prone on the ground with cop cars screeching to a halt in front of the building with sirens blazing I could do without that kind of excitement during USCIS related trips.

I was thinking in name change also, but I did some research online and looks like takes about 6 more month to get the oath ceremony. good luck to you.!!!!

I got my yellow letter today, asking to bring my driver license for the enterview. now I have to wait for the enterview letter!!!! hope this would be soon!!!

I had my interview yesterday....

12:35 - I entered building where I originally had my Biometrics taken, this time I had to go to a different floor for my 1pm interview.

12:40 - Security screening with a metal detector.

12:42 - Security personnel took my interview letter and was told to wait in the waiting area until my name is called (there were about 20+ people already in the waiting area, all of them who either had either attorneys or translators. At this time, I'm thinking this will be a long wait with all these people ahead of me.

1:00 - A USCIS agent opens a door nearby the waiting area and calls my name. To my surprise, I didn't expect to be going first ahead of everyone else, perhaps they showed up much earlier than they were scheduled. Interview letter specifically said "Do not show up more than 30 mins prior to the appointment".

1:01 - I was sworn in to tell the truth, nothing but the truth, etc... in his private office/interview room.

1:02 - Agent asked for greencard and verified information from my original N-400 application with a red pen.

1:03 - He verified my profession from the application, and curiously said "that's a great field"... and then quickly proceeded to verify everything on the form.

1:05 - He asked me to sign papers, and told me that he was ready to administer the test. Keep in mind, I reviewed the test packet the night before for about 30 mins.

1:06 - He tested my reading and writing ability by asking me to write "There are 100 senators!". I write it, he checked off a box next to it.

1:07 - A 10 questions test begins, which I ended up getting 9 of them right. It's odd, because oral tests are harder to answer as oppose to normal test. I think I got "what's the common law of the US" or something to that effect wrong, I said "The constitution". He wrote all my answers down, and I doubt you can change answers after he writes them down.

1:10 - The test ended. Agent fills out a 1 page form, and he gets up and congratulates me. He then tells me to wait 6-8 weeks for the oath ceremony letter to be in the mail.

Overall, it was a breeze, just be yourself and be prepared.

When I was doing my conversion from the Fiance Visa (I-131) to Permanent Resident (I-485) I had to do the 3 hour drivedown to Charlotte NC from Raleigh for Biometrics. Wasn´t too much of a deal, although my heavy right foot got me the bluelight special on the way down...

Really, they are maybe exaggerating the delay that will be caused by rebooking, perhaps not. So just pick the position/scenario that best fits yourself and do what´s right for you:

1. If you´re really dying to get a US citizenship tomorrow, then just do the drive.

2. If you don´t mind a few weeks delays, then just request another appointment closer to your home, if you came here

as a spouse you´ll have to wait until a minimum of 3 years of PR status is up, otherwise 5 years so maybe there´s

no hurry anyway.

3. If you like driving keep the original appointment.

4. If you really hate driving rebook.

I got the fingerprint app. but Uscis has my zipcode mixtup, they want me to go to the west coast of fl, 3 hours from my house, when my Uscis office is 10 minutes away (West Palm Beach) I'm concern that they would do the same for the enterview. Should I have my fingerprints in West Palm beach? can I do this in a different office? please I need help!!! thank you

I called Uscis and they told me to send a letter telling them the problem with my zipcode, but this is going to dalay all the proccess. My Zipcode was change due to increase in population, but is the same house, and before I was always sent to The West Palm Beach office. I dont know what to do?????????
