Our CR1 visa was approved and we are so thankful first To GOD, our family and all you guys who are willing to help in this so stressful Journey.

We had our interview on August 04 and everything went so well… Will discuss all questions later.

I THINK THAT WE ONLY PAY THE 15 DOLLARS SINCE WE ARE CR1/CR2. THE $140 ARE FOR K1 VISA

Do I, take my interview letter to any Banco Popular branch in the Dominican Republic to pay the non-fundable visa application fee of the equivalent of US$140.00 in Dominican pesos and an additional non-refundable fee of US$15.00 (the equivalent in Dominican pesos) plus applicable taxes per applicant.

they said FINAL REVIEW but it means your case is complete.

dont wait till friday call tomorrow... or wend.....and u will have a case complete ......

no mine actually didn't show anything, like it says there is no bill. even though the bill was emailed to me for the ds-230. the ds-230 payment area is in bold like you can pay it but no check box is there.

Hi guys, we're all in the same boat...lol I just send off my DS230 and also send off my check, because you know a longgggggggggggg weekend is heading this way. I spoke to a very nice lady, she told me to send everything in. So I used express mail for both.

Same problem here, NVC also told me to use the same cover sheet of the AOS to mail the DS230 because they both go to the same address.

Sometime they losse documents and re quest a new set .It happen to me i had a REF on the NVC actually 2 they re requested Certificado Judicial for my wife and the secon i didnt finish Bio data on her form my part it may take 10 days after they get the documents back

When I call the automated message system at the NVC, they say that we are missing information or they need more documentation. They also said they have sent a letter out on May 18, but neither I nor my husband have received this letter. We're wondering if they just said this because I sent the I-864 in, paid the IV fee on May 04, and then my husband sent in the DS-3032 on May 18, AND MAYBE-before they could update it for their records. Hence the "we need more information" response.

I can't understand why they would need more information. I sent in everything that was required and then some. I sent more than enough information on my financial background that should have cleared with no problems. I wish there was some way to find out from the NVC what they actually need instead of waiting for a SNAILl letter.

Anyone else have a situation like this?

I got my ds3032 confirmation email and also my AOS fee bill show as PAID online May 04,2011- but I still don't see they invoice my IV fee bill yet. And my question is will they hold up on invoicing my IV fee bill until they receive my AOS package which they got it on May 09? Its taking for ever.

Can someone tell me the difference between the I-864 and the I-864A. I am living with my daughter (10) and I am sponsoring my husband. My income is above the poverty level + my assets. I would be the person sponsoring my husband. What form should I complete the I-864 or I-864A?

congrats on the approval...my priority date is decmenber 6.2010 i sent mine to csc..according to visajourney they are processing dec.1.2010 any ideas when i should get my approval..its soo frustrating..

pretty soon, I was Nov. 22, 2010...
