  1. Yesterday after trying to call NVC all day, I finally got through. When they asked for my receipt number, Full name, and Date of birth so I guess they could check my petition, I was told that they date of birth that I gave them over the phone was not the one they had in their system.

    They told me that they could not give me any more information and that I should sent a copy of my birth certificate to them.

    She was actually very rude to me. I know that when I called it was already midnight their time, and they were probably ready to close.

    I am confused because what if I had not called them...how would ever know they had the wrong date of birth. Plus they have my packet there with all my documents including copy of my birth certificate.

    At this point I don't know if I should do what this person from the NVC told me and sent another copy of birth certificate( in my case my naturalization certificate) or call again and try to speak with someone else. I have a feeling she was really tired and did not want to help me.

    Any ideas?

    CAN u tell me what happen now? we got the same problem. and i am totally confused of what to do.

  2. Yesterday i called the NVC to follow up my approved petition for i-129f petition. They asked for my receipt number, Full name, and Date of birth of my beneficiary and the applicant, I was told that the date of birth that I gave them over the phone was not the one they had in their file and she told me that they could not give me any more information and she wants me to email them and send a copy of my birth certificate to them. She was very rude to me,i can't even ask question, because she said she can't give any information, and i told her if i can repeat my dob again mybe she heard it wrong but she wont let me do it. :(

    I reviewed all my copies of my paper works that i sent it to uscis if my DOB is wrong there, but for me they are all right (From my i-129f to my biographic data). Now i am so confused and i can't help to panic. So Last night i emailed them right away with the attached of my birth certificate. and until now im still waiting for the response. I tried to call them again this morning, and i got the same answer, that my DOB is not match of what i gave them, and she is one of the rude operator also. Now im so hopeless. I dont know what else to do. I searched online for this kind of problems but seems i can't get any answers. Do i still try to call them(NVC) again? Maybe i will get a nice operator? or do i have to wait until they response for my email? I really don't know what to do now. Pls. advise me! thank you.
