may I ask you why?
as I think would be priority if married to a US Citizen ?

Hello
We have been married for 6 years now and for one reason or another we had not file for my wife citizenship , she has her renewed 10 yrs green Card .
my question is
Should we file as her having at least 5 years as PR or as we have at least 3 years of marriage with a US citizen ? as she met both requirements
I am inclining to file as having at least 3 years of marriage but want your opinion..

Hello , Quick Update
Seems like we got the NOA dated 01/16/2013 and the stamp was on the 17th , took 5 days for the US Post to deliver in Florida today Jan 22th
Got the one year extension , simple looking document , I can understand why some Airlines might refuse boarding coming back to US , but it clearly states " good for travel "
Now wait for the apointments

Oops , sorry , Tried to add our info , Mike 9 , we just sent everything to VSC I 751 with ton of info ,Tax banks insurance ,medical , dental , photos etc etc express and certified mail

We received our NOA1 today as well, dated 1/10/13. Also, saw the check was cashed today via my bank's online access. I put the G-1145 E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance form on top of all the paperwork (just underneath the check), and never received an e-mail or text. Hmmm Not sure if this form generally works for people or not.
Happy to have received the NOA1. Watching for the Biometrics appointment! Then, we get to wait 6-12 months it sounds like!

I've read there are some transfers from USCICS to Service Centers , How do I know if my case was transfered? should it be transfered , ???
EAD and AP in Xmas time , SSA done , Driver license appt on 01/31/11 cant wait for interview

Congratulations for the interview letter ,we went today to get SS m was very quick , only EAD and Passport at the local SSA office ..
Requested EAD spelling correction , they said will mail a new one of most likely will be exchanged at the local USCIS office , I guess to make sure we only keep one original
NExt step is Driver license when SS # arrived
still waiting for interview notification
Sorry to hear about your RFE , I think you should be ok once the proof is send , the good thing the interview is over and once that satisfied should be ready to go

We got the AP in the mail today Form I-512L doe anyone know how "safe" is to travel with this document , Hopefully EAD arrives soon , According to what I read is easier to get SSN then DL at least in FL this should be the sequence , any thoughts ?

I never carried , it , too valuable to loose , your DL is the form of identification and most states required to prove legal residency to obtain a driver license , ( with few states exceptios) ,find out if your state require this confirmation before issuing a DL , I never carried my GC and my passporte , just when traveling internationally , all domestic flights can be taken with a DL
Not sure about South West US , ( AZ, CA ) I lived Midwest , WI , and IL and in GA , never an issue ( Got a ticket in WI . DL was plenty of documentation required)

it make sense and seems much simpler , I am assuming the interview would still request IRS filings , we have file Married jointly since we got married and she is a stay at home Mom ,
Would she need me in the interview?
