I had my interview today in Fairfax, VA ... My interview time was 8:30 and I reached there around 8 AM ... An officer came out and called out my name at 8:28 and took me to his office. He went through my N-400 application first. The USCIS officer was very friendly and asked me if I'm still 5'11 or have grown more after filing the application ... He asked me to read the question from a paper "Which country is on the north of US?" and then asked me to write "Canada is on the north of US." He asked me the following civic questions:
1. What group of people was taken to America and sold as slaves? 2. What is the highest court in United States? 3. How many amendments in the constitution? 4. Who is the vice president of the United States? 5. Who makes federal laws? 6. Why did colonist fight the British?
The officer told me in the end that he's recommending me for approval and that I will receive my oath letter in the mail.
