What are the things apart from the appointment letter and green card, if any are required at the oath taking ceremony?
-
How was the interview process? From what i have heard, it is said that it is very simple and all they want to look at is tax returns. Also how long after the interview is the oath taking ceremony?

So do you know how long the process usually will take from application to getting a green card?
Also, they cannot leave the country after the application has been filed correct?

Hi everyone.
I have a question. If you have one or both parents visiting the U.S on a visit visa, can you apply for their immigration while they are in the U.S and apply for a change in status at the same time? Any help would be great.

Thank you. I have all the travel on the passport after becoming a permanent resident on this passport but it expired last month so i was thinking whether i needed to renew it or not since the interview is about 3 weeks away.
Thank you for your help

Does anyone know at the N 400 Naturalization interview, regarding the old passports:
1) Do they have to be all the old passports?
2) Does the current passport need to be valid ( Not expired). If it is expired, does it need to be renewed before the interview?
Thank You

I have a few questions regarding sponsoring of parents for green cards:
1) If the parent you are planning to sponsor visiting the US at the time you want to sponsor them, can you file the I 130 and I 485 ( change of status at the same time? Or you cannot file the I 485 change of status if the parent has entered on a visit Visa?
2) If the parent has a valid visit visa multiple entary for the next few years, does filling the application mean that they would have difficulty entering the US on that visa? It is my understanding that getting a visa visa once immigration has been filled is next to impossible but if you are in possession of a valid visit visa before the immigrant visa is filled then you should be able to travel on that visa.
I would really appreciate any help
