I am not one to take this as being "jaded"

I was given a gift.. the love, friendship and experience that the two of us shared...

He showed me I still can love.. and wish to. ..

If I learn anything from any of this.. it simply is.. that.. each day is special..

we are special... and we dont know when it is not going to be taken from us. .

I now will spend my day.. in the focus as it has been in the past .. as it should be.. and that is the focus of my family.. my daughters...

OHHH....... ok.. for those that were following.. about my daughter... Nikki...... ..

her surgery is this coming friday.. Shriners.. in Portland.. .. .. The surgeon says 1-2 days in hospital.. most likely will place a plate in her leg.. but best part she will have the tumor removed... ... ... we appreciate the prayers..... .. .

I wish to express to many I have met on my halted journey how much I appreciate the support and understanding that has been shown.

Due to some situations and information that I have become aware of I have decided to walk.

I have been committed and dedicated to the man I believed was doing the same. Unfortunately reality sets in .. and .. when one half of the equation cannot fulfill the commitment it has to end. .. Jan is in fact .. in reality.. STILL Married.. .. even tho he states he is "free to marry" in India.. that does not give him LEGALITY to marry in USA... .. four years ago he state he had the Legal divorce finalized and was simply awaiting a document. that has NEVER come to light.. .. after his travels to Rome on a business trip.. he returned even more distant than in past... it got me not only more irritated but simply more enlightened. .. a friend of mine who is as well from India.. explained to me .. that it is almost impossible for a Indian man Hindi to fulfill a divorce tru courts. and asked me if i was really sure he was divorced... well.. long story short... I asked Jan.. I need a answer... straight answer... was he divorced.. he simply answered. NO.. .. turned it around and said I knew that.... .. ohhh noooo.. not......I reminded him he said it was completed over three years ago... ..bla bla bla... mis understanding.. miscommunication.. cultural differences.. who knows....

Fact is Fact.. he is not Divorced... .. he is NOT free to express the things he has said.. nor make commitments as he did. ..

He was confused... and couldn't understand why he cannot just come here and be with me.... ... .. I asked him. what part of .. BEING free to make that commitment does he not understand.... .. he stated his love has not changed.. .. cant we just be together........ HELLLLLOOOO.. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE ..?? psahhh... I am nooooo sugar momma... .. I am not desperate... I need a man that is free to commit to me... who can give me him.. .. that I wont sit there thinking .. that any moment.. the Xwife/or family can take away anything we built... Whether or not his intentions were legit.. .. it is not something I can live with myself being placed on hold for...

Another year goes by.. and yet I am still the one sitting here .. alone... .. words are simply that words... ..

I cannot afford to place myself on hold due to uncertainties..

Many will say..... he took me for a ride.. we all know that is what people say.. or .. I told you so.. etc..

but .. No one knows what we shared.. what we felt..... .. for that I am grateful to have had that.. if only for the short time I had.

my daughter even tho she is young.. has skin trouble.. we visited both the MAC counter at Nordstrom and Sophora.

I have to say I was impressed with Sophora. They didnt pressure you .. did your face let you try on.

What I did learn is.. .. when applying your foundation and concealer.. use a fat bristle brush. the ladies brush was fat with uneven bristles.. she dabbed the brush in the foundation and applied it to her face. the little bristles filled the little pores and had excellent coverage. Might I add.. that she really didnt use that much foundation either.

When we were at MAC at Nordies.. the makeup artist tended to do what I call BONDO.. meaning like how you say.. thickly applied.. looking madeup..

The Sophora lady knew exactly what foundation.. to use. for the acne prone skin. and what to use to conceal her breakouts without looking madeup.

The foundation she chose for Nikki cost like $40. which I wont pay for.. .. hahah dang I dont pay $40 for myown makeup hahah.. so Nikki is saving for it...

Extremely impressed with Sophora and the knowledge of cosmetics...

If you dont have any cosmetic brushes... I really suggest buying a few. They dont need to be the costly ones like they have there but.. check out the bristles.. and go to your local shop and find comparable...

I never used brushes before.. but.. have since began. my does it make a difference..

Nikki with MAC counter makeup .. got a makeover done for her pagent.. skin looks good and not too bondolooking

For your motherinlaw's business.. they will be looking at the business taxes.. for her.. They will not be looking at the full income but the income that is the ADJUSTED income after business expenses.

Many business show they have income.. but when you deduct expenses there is little left.

You may need to attach the co-sponsors tax information that is including Schedule C

For K-1 and AOS they look at TOTAL INCOME... not adjusted.. it is used as line 22 from 1040

I am normally able to use much more deductions on my taxes for business expenses... usually lowering my income dramatically to less than 10K. but with being in the process of sponsering.. I have to make sure i have enought shown.

Someone pointed out to me... even if you have to "pay" some taxes.. he can still be sponsered by you.. plus.. You will be doing this hopefully within 3 years.. therefore.. after.. AOS.. .. worse case scinario and you wished to get your money you paid in taxes... file a amended return.. you have 3 years to do so ..

then you can refile.. with the business deductions.. .. ..

Personally I wont do so ... I feel.. not only will this show i made enough to sponser him.. but.. hey .. it increases my income I made for social security.. .. they go on how much you made for your retirement amount... and if i always make it so i claim as little as possible. in order to pay less or none in taxes.. then. when it comes time for me to retire and get social security.. All the years of my hard work.. will give me little to nothing as a social security benefit .... catch 22?

Just remember.. for self employed.. assess what is on the schedule C for you deductions.. limit what you have after all it is to our benefit to claim or not to claim a deduction..

self employment taxes.. are listed on Line 58 as other taxes.. and YES YOUR INCOME IS COUNTED BEFORE THAT... .. Income is only counted AFTER BUSINESS DEDUCTIONS ... not including your SE TAX..

AGI is with the deduction of 1/2 SE tax.. but we dont use AGI.. we use line 22 TOTAL INCOME..

After his graduation from college Jim waned to continue with music but the closest he could come was as a salesman for a black soul radio station. Jim had his routine down well-he would ask businesses to buy an ad on the station, record the spot himself, and use it on the air. Can you please provide more research, including an interview with the songwriter's surviving spouse. Also, provide info on which recording studio was used, and how many records were sold, and how much Jim Croce made from this song, and even how much he paid someone to write it. Details matter when trying to be credible :star:

I would make sure that you have filed the correct paperwork before worrying about how to go on vacation....

Main thing for this is not to leave the country while the AOS is filed... . if you leave country. you will have to return to your home and wait it out without your honey.. however if you can prove your nonintent.. etc.. file AOS and remain here in USA while you adjust..

HAWAII is a USA state..

no Passport is required for travel...

but..

due to your status of not being citizen.. or PR you may be required to show your PASSPORT as identification to cross TSA security....

also .. as with any travel in any country.. a Person of Non Citizenship should carry passport no matter what country...

.. when i travel I never let my Passport off my person.. i keep in in a ziplock in my bra hahaha.. but.. for you being male.. hmmm .. ziplock to the inside of your shirt? ...

I would hate to have something happen.. .. even tho you are in USA.. you are still a visitor..

Below is the TSA list.. it says that you if you are a nonresident/citizen you must show/use your Passport. I think that if it is expired you may run into some difficulties.. however.. the TSA is looking at ID not dates.. but it also needs to be listed as VALID id...

ALSO .. as the others say..

K1 is for Fiance visa.. if you filed it and are NOW married you have filed incorrectly.

Your S.O may be needing to file a K3 where you will need to return to your country and wait out the remaining. Unless you file it as a CR1 still you will need to return to your country to wait it out. sorry

TSA: ID Requirements

The hospital here in Portland is one of the Orthopedic specity hospitals.. on the website it does list her type of bone problem as one of which they treat. If she is accepted by Shriners.. they take care of everything.. treatment surgery and everything is covered. I just hope that the wait for decision is not too long..

I put a call into Shriners to ask a few questions.. .. hopefully I get a return call today.. .. augh.. I should be getting the papers from the doctor today and will get them forwarded onto Shriners within the next day... then the wait will begin..

Hi all. Those that remember.. my daughter Nikki was told she has a Osteoma.. a bone tumor. it most likely is benign but due to the location and size she is being referred to Shriners Hospital for treatment.

Her Orthopedic surgeon was going to do the surgery but the treatment was denied by my insurance. I am appealing the decision but at the sametime her Doctor feels that this treatment might be better at the Shriners hospital.

I talked to her nurse yesterday she said she will be sending me all the forms.. so nooowwwwww..... I will fill them out.. and submit..

if the Shriners hospital feels she can benefit they will take the case..

Does anyone here. in VJ know of anyone that has been referred to Shriners? I know if she is accepted it is wonderful.. Portland Oregon (where I live) has the Orthopedic/Pediactric hospital. So we will be lucky. I am hoping that they wont take too long in their decision... who knows..

If anyone has had to use them... my question is... how was the process... did it take along time to get in.... or approved? input?

Civil Liberties

Fundemental Rights of India

Rights which are considered essential or fundamental for the well-being of a person are called Fundamental Rights.The Fundamental Rights in India enshrined in the Part III of the Constitution of India guarantee civil liberties such that all Indians can lead their lives in peace and harmony as citizens of India. These include individual rights common to most liberal democracies, such as equality before law, freedom of speech and expression, freedom of association and peaceful assembly, freedom to practice religion, and the right to constitutional remedies for the protection of civil rights by means of writs such as habeas corpus. Violations of these rights result in punishments as prescribed in the Indian Penal Code, subject to discretion of the judiciary. The Fundamental Rights are defined as basic human freedoms which every Indian citizen has the right to enjoy for a proper and harmonious development of personality. These rights universally apply to all citizens, irrespective of race, place of birth, religion, caste, creed, colour or sex. They are enforceable by the courts, subject to certain restrictions. The Rights have their origins in many sources, including England's Bill of Rights, the United States Bill of Rights and France's Declaration of the Rights of Man.

Many countries have their own forms of bribery, curruptness, social outcast and yes.. even seeming to us.. Torture.

India is not the only country..... this film just happened to show a rather dark side of India curruptness.

IS this going to happen.. or am I assuming it is not..
