The interview went very smoothly.
A very nice officer met with us and interviewed us together. We were never separated. He asked a series of questions from our various forms that we had sent in. Nothing difficult nor unexpected. I presently my evidence (photos or the wedding, honeymoon, some bills, bank account statements, insurance that proved we lived together at the same address. He made copies of all this and put it in the file. We were done in about 20-25 minutes. It was painles...

Felt like AOS interview went well, but she said she hadn't reviewed our file beforehand and couldn't make a decision at this time... Apparently we'll hear within 30 days :\

Green card arrived today! It was sent on Dec 22nd. So if yesterday hadn't been a holiday I would have had it exactly a week after my interview.

No Advance Parole or EAD yet. But i did get a "Request for Applicant to Appear for Initial Review". One more request for information, this process is long, hard and redundant, good thing i am in love. LOl

Hi Jeannie. Congrats on the Green Card. Great day for you and Ken.
My biometrics were completed on Nov 8. I phoned USCIS 6 times over the last two weeks trying to figure out where my EAD and AP were. But not a word. The Expedite has not helped, and i am guessing that the Thanksgiving to Christmas time has slowed the process. grrrrr

waiting for EAD advance parole is killing me. I applied for an Expedite of my parole based on my mothers sickness, but i am not optimistic that there will be any expedition of my case

well alot has happend since my last update. I was approved and left the day after my Visa Arrived for the USA. Entered at Holten, Maine with my car and Uhaul trailer. No issues at the border, just took about an hour. Then i drove to Denver, and was married on September 17. After the honeymoon in California, i worked on filing my AOS. And that is where i am now.

Off to Montreal tomorrow. Interview is Monday. Thanks to all the help from VJ friends I am ready.

Finally done unpacking but still waiting on the shipment from Canada. Holiday weekend last weekend kinda held it up a little. Wedding planning starts next week :-)

11 Sleeps! Got EVERYTHING sorted and packed. Boxes and customs forms are ready for the shippers on the 18th. Living out of a suitcase for the next 11 days. All that is left to pack is the things I use everyday. Now what do I do for the next 11 days?
