Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone who had gotten the NOA2 had their USCIS account touched or updated right before they got their NOA2.
Dec 6 will be 5 months...
/amro
Well Im sure you have all the answers you were looking for by now but I got my NOA1 June 17th and although I still haven't got my NOA2 as to yet, I heard back from them getting my RFE just before my 5 months. Waiting for you NOA2 is like being in line at the grocery store, some lines are longer than others, patience is the best thing although we all know its hard

July 16th? well I've been waiting since June 17th for mine so you may have a ways to wait yet. in less than a week is my 5 month mark and nothing so far my thoughts to you is just patience. I call my fiancee 2-3 times a week to keep from going crazy but I'll admit it isn't cheap. But good luck on the waiting in truth there isn't really any easy way to handle it you just got to be as patient as possible

Our best friends took 9 months. So do you feel lucky?
Friends of mine coming from the same country and island as my fiancee took around 6 months altogether for the K-1 visa. How about luckier than some but less fortunate than others... But 9 months Baron, I would of taken it to somebody who would help me at that length of time.

oh good god! 5 months!! and this is all with california service centre!!! wow... we just got our NOA1 last week so looks like i'm in for a long ride.. my friend applied last november and was in the states exactly 6 months later and she had major delays getting police clearance from all the countries she has lived in... and she still got to US in 6 months!! but that was vermont service centre...
I wouldn't necessarily say that... as another friend quoted to me which I will quote to you, waiting for your NOA2 is like standing in line at a grocery store. some people move faster at approving petitions while others are slower plus getting RFEs and names that get highlighted in the database slow things down as well. So Im just standing in a long line as with these others not knowing which place I got in line. You may end up with a shorter line than the rest of us so Good luck on the waiting!

Hey Dawn, here is another huge huge issue to look at. How much do you honestly say you can know about Paul in a 4 month period of time. he maybe a great guy and then again... who knows? But my point is us Americans risk a lot when bringing a woman or man to this country whom we love, if they have been honest with us or if they have acted like they were honest. I met a young lady in the Philippines and to me she is the most wonderful woman I have ever known and I spent 2 yrs getting to know her before I even met her in person and filed for her finally. I know the feeling, when you think this is the person I was meant to be, since it always happens when you first start to love someone but take my advice or don't if you don't want to.. give it some time, take some time to just to get to know him and that love you have for him will get much much more stronger than what you feel now and if he thinks you're worth waiting for than he'll always be right there otherwise he would just walk away which in that case he wasn't that great of guy after all.

Read a lot of the info on this website, depending on which state you are from is depending on which service center you will send the petition to. You will need things like the I-129F, G-325A, etc.. there is several forms if you 2 are just engaged. A very very important thing to remember is it is a very very long process after it is sent, so patience is always a virtue. I hope this gets you pointed in the right direction. Its very confusing it was for me as well not knowing what to do next and Im still that way. But this website is where I got a lot of my answers, my fiancee read it too and between her and me we kinda got a few things figured out.

Cheer up! You're not alone y'all!
My 156th day of waiting today!
Sorry!
I must be crazy!
Maybe we will all have good news in the next two weeks!
Not the RFE I hope!
waiting that long I think I would go crazy but K-1 visa isn't supposed to as long as the K-3 visa, I wish they would keep to the 5 months like they are supposed to. But my 5 months isn't until Nov. 17th but its coming.

i'm 5 months too passed!! they didnt even send RFE or contacted us in any way, i heard some cases gets RFE after 5 months :S i think for all of us waiting over 5 months we need to prepare for the next steps and hope for the best!! we'll give them a call in couple of days, can anyone post the number?
Just so ya know their no. is 1-800-375-5283 but I can't ever get past their automated thing that you listen to, its always just the same machine and not an actual human. They say their hrs 8am-8pm Mon-Fri but that is all I know. Someone will have to tell us both how to get ahold of an actual person because I've called twice so far and not gotten through past the automated thing yet...

Well thankyou at least I know it isn't uncommon to be over or around 5 months before you get the NOA2, it has been over 7 months since I seen my Fiancee and just like the rest of us Iam going crazy with all this waiting.

Im coming upon 5 months of waiting for my NOA2, has it ever taken any of you this long to get your NOA2?
