Hi,
Has he done his police clearence yet? It takes about 6 weeks and seems to be the obstacle in the process. As far as I know once he sends back packet 3 (Pink) he sets up the date for the interview.
Also be sure he has a valid birth certificate and I think he needs a SARS tax clearence. Some applicants have had the packet 3 emailed them from the embassy to complete, so possibly he could complete it in the USA and DHL it to the embassy and set up the interview tate and then fly back. Dont forget the I-134 financial support.
FYI check out Primier Travek they have specil airfare rates with SAA and often have promotions.
Good luck,
Simeon

Question about the K2, visa. when paying for the visa at the consulate, do I need to pay for K1 only that covers the K2 or do I need to pay for both?
-
I did the same thing when I passed 5 months on 3/26 Missouri Senator and Congressman, they still have not got back to me. I also called the USCIS 800 number and right off the bat demanded a 2nd level person. Spoke to the and she put in a SVS request. Last week was a good week for VSC hope this week is strong also. Vanessa and I are both drained from this process.
Good Luck

Thanks for this information...

Have you tried contacting youe Senator or Congressman/Woman. They have people working for them that take care of this stuff. Please do yourself a favor and contact them. Good luck, I feel your pain.

A ring on the finger is a good enough intent to marry. If you send a letter I don’t think it needs to be notarized. Overkill is good, but depends on the individual case, if your case is weak go wild. I did not see anything on any USCIS documentation requesting intent to marry letters, unless I missed it.

Go with the seperate paper and put as much info as possible, this is your one chance to stand out and state your case to the USCIS person that handles your case. Overkill is good.
Good Luck

I just dont get it, it seems at the NOA2 process in Vermont and California are running slow, this is so frustrating, NOA2 in the first quarter of 2010 were issued in 30 days. Will it speed up in the new year?
Why does even Senator or Congressman not work for us ??

Im right there will all of you, senators and congressman cant affect the process. They give you lip service to satisfy you. Mmmmm maybe threaten to Tweat about lack of support, to get a reaction.
