  1. Hello!! Yes dear you need to obtain a Police Clearance, not Police Report.I've bee in Japan too 5 years ago and I just request a Police Clearance this month at Davao City it will take 2-3 months. They DID NOT ask me a request letter from Manila US Embassy, only old Passport & New Passport it is free to request a Police Certificate at the Japanese Embassy of Davao.Good luck to our Journey.God Bless Us.....

  2. my interview was scheduled for 6:30am and i was there by 5am (excited & nervous!) :P but there were a lot of people already so the guard started calling those with 6:15, 6:30 and 6:45 appointment and told us to sit (in order) on the benches in the immigrant area.

waited like an hour...just sitting and hungry so for those who are going for an interview, make sure you've eaten na. you can't bring any food or liquid inside but there's booth inside with some crackers and chips and bottled water you can buy.

by 6am, they started letting us in by 5's. they'll scan everything so make sure you dont bring any electronic gadget or you'll get in trouble with the security people. first line is to get your queue number where they asked for the DS forms, receipt and your photos. (don't worry there are guards and employees who'll assist you in every corner). once you have your queue number, sit and wait for your number to be flashed on the screen for the initial interview. it would tell you what window to go to. Or you could be called first for fingerprinting, they dont flash your number for this so be attentive. They'll call the names and tell you to fall in line by the window 16 or 33.

my initial interviewer was a Filipino guy, very friendly. he asked for my NBI, Birth Certificate, CENOMAR while asking questions like the name of my fiance; how me and fiance met; how many times he visited me; what his job is; if i've ever been out of the country, how long and what was the purpose of the trip; he asked if my fiance has ever been married and asked for the copy of the divorce decree; he asked if my fiance gives me money and i said no so he asked if i have a job and i said yes (maybe they'll ask for receipt for this so bring if you have any)then he asked for support of evidence which I've put in one folder (we have the competed I-134, 2010 & 2009 W2s, 1040 and most recent 6mos bank statements); then he asked if i have pictures, letter, emails, phone records so i started pulling them out of my folder but he didnt look at them and just said the consulate would be looking at them. And we're done, told me to wait for my name to be called for fingerprinting.

So i waited for another 30min and my name was called and was instructed to go to this window and bring my queue number. they call people here by 5's as well. That took like 5min only then you wait for your number on the screen for the final interview.

The consulate was an american guy who asked me first how i was doing. Everybody was just friendly on that day. He first asked me to raise my right hand and he swore me in. Then the questions began. Who is your petitioner? How old is he? Have you ever been married? Do you have children? Does he have children? How many times has he been married? Do you promise to marry him within 90 days of your arrival in the US? What does your fiance do for fun? (I said he likes singing so he asked me what songs he sings haha!) All the while he was busy looking and flipping through the pages of now a very thick file of the petition which i think includes the original I-129F petition, medical Result, and the forms you gave on that day. He also asked about my fiance's job and if i have plans to pursue a carrer in the US. He asked for our photos so i gave him all the pictures i brought, he looked at those then said, "Ok ma'am, looks like everything is ok, your visa has been approved! You can wait outside for your name to be called." I was soooo happy to hear those words!!!

Then you just wait again for your name and they'll give you the courier's form to fill out. Then you go home. So I took a cab to get home fast so I can call my fiance! This was one of my happiest days ever!! Wish everyone goodluck on their journey and hope you all get to experience a smooth interview as well.

Dai gwapa Congatulation  and thank you for sharing your experience.God Bless Us All... :innocent:

  3. This morning I checked Case Status to see if they finally had my case in the system. I logged in and it showed Post Decision Activity. Our I129f was approved. I really feel so blessed. Keep the faith my friends. I pray everyone has such a smooth process. The crazy thing is.....Edouardo doesn't believe me. He lives in DR where they experience many power outages so he has no internet access. I hope he can check soon and know Im not playing a bad trick on him.

I know he wants to believe me, but wants to see it with his own eyes. He never expected it to happen so fast.

Congratulation  and WOW you just approve in 16days??? wow just wondering why are you a government worker? what is the basis to approve just short period of time?? I am just curious.

  4. So I woke up this morning, checked my emails which I always do first thing (have been slightly obsessive about it recently..!), and there were the words I having been hoping to see for the past 5 months "your I129F petition for fiancee visa has been approved" or words to that effect :D

I screamed so loud my mum ran up the stairs thinking I'd had a heart attack...!!

Thank goodness for this forum, that's all I can say.

I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of questions in the run up to the interview in London...lol!

The last few days in particular have been a real struggle, was feeling really despondent, but now the worse is over, and the best is yet to come :-)

One step closer to marrying the love of my life

Congratulation, i am happy for you.God Bless us Always....

  5. At last I got an email last night that the I-129F is approved :). Im excited, thank you all for all of the help. My question now is how soon can I call VSC to get our case number so I can have Kim set up her medical appointment and request and expedite for the embassy in London? Thanks again everyone for the help.

I hope we can have our NOA2 before the end of the Month. <a href="http://photobucket.com/images/congratulation" target="_blank"><img src="http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q52/nitaino/congratulation.jpg" border="0" alt="Congratulation Pictures, Images and Photos"/></a>

  6. My fiancee and I are almost done with her K-1 visa. But the question I have is in regards to when we are already married and she has already become a US citizen. We plan to petition her parents to come here when she is eligible to do so. The only problem is that her birth certificate we are using now for her visa contains two small typographical errors. Her father's middle initial is an M instead of a N and her mom's first name is misspelled by a couple of letters. We are wondering if this will cause a problem in the future when we attempt to petition her parent's. Oh and if it makes a difference, when we petition her parent's they will be going to the Manila embassy for their visas.

    Thanks

They have to correct now the error of their names.Tell them that they have to go to the Civil Registrar Office where they live. And ask the requirements for the correction and it will takes 6 to 1 year for the whole process, I did before last 2008 correction of my Mothers name on my Birth Certificate and my Middle name too. So better to start now.God Bless Us....

  7. meron po bang experation ito? sabi nang iba meron sabi nang iba wala..

NSO documents NO expiration, But it is better that you will submit a NEW one specially when you are going to process in any applications. So request ka nlng ng bago for your interview.Good Luck and God Bless Us...

  8. Thanks for the info ERY.

Also it seems her internet connection is really poor also...gets booted off a lot.

    This seriously sucks!!!

We can send people to space, but we can't have a telephone system that works properly???

where did she live in Cebu is it Down Town City? or Province and flooded area and might be that is the reason that you can not reach her through telephone call. My Fiance used to call me everyday or I will make a call to him & we do not have a problem about. So, I hope soon you can contact her.By the way I live in Davao City.

  9. i don't know how.........I don't know why......................I am a September filer and by rights so many others deserved this news long before us..........

    But we are

    kicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gifAPPROVED!!!!!!! kicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gif

But here in the iron tight grasp of my own hands is the I-797 that says"APPROVAL NOTICE"

I already called my wife and woke her from her slumber! I have never heard her so happy to be woken up!

  11. If you make more than enough in income then the bank statement will not be an issue. However, if you are using funds in a bank account to help substantiate your affadavit of support than you will need the bank statements to show.

    [/quote

My fiance told me that he has a good income and nothing to worry about the affidavit of support, but he doesn't have a savings account only check book account.I have read a lots of K1 interview and most of them they have the Bank Statement .That's why I asked this question.

thank you so much " amykathleen " for your imidiate reply.God Bless Us....

  12. Hello VJs,

Petitioners Bank Statement is 1 of the K1 requerment during the interview. Now my question is...how important is the Bank Statement of the Petitioners during the interview? what if the petitioner can not obtain a Bank Statement? this is the possible denial of benefeciarys Visa?

    Thank you so much,

    waya

    Nick
