Abt 24yr old male CO
-
The Asian lady is now in Abuja. It was a young CO abt 24yr that conducted the interview.
-
Yes that's correct.. But waiting for reaffirmation is also very recommended. Immediately after the denial, i sent an email to the consulate on why we were denied instead of asking for the birth cert. I guess they knew the CO at the time of our interview was unprofessional enough.. I guess thats why they speed it up.

Thanks. I appreciate that indeed.

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity
On March 22, 2012, a USCIS office received this case from the State Department with a request that we review it. We will notify you when we complete our review, or if we
need something from you. If you
move while this case is pending,
please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with
your new address or call our customer service center at
1-800-375-5283.
As some of you knew we were placed on review in Jan this year, now we just got the above status from USCIS after DHS reviewed our k1 cos it was sent back to US in Jan for review. Now, just to tell you guys that the k1 is not considered close since its being reviewed now by USCIS. Some taught k1 will expire after temporary denial but i guess they do revalidate it like Cr1. So hopefully they'll finish wit that and reaffirm our petition for another interview in Lagos.
Hope for the best.

Wow i like Kamorass's services.. Good people, good services.
-
You should hope for the best.. I'll say you should carry on with your plans irrespective of all odds. The only red flag i see is that, you got married during your first visit which lasted 2weeks.
But then, you can still overcome this if your fiance is able to answer the consular officer convincinly based on this question if asked. Africa is labelled high fraud countries but then, there are many many good Africans out of millions of African people.
I wish you the best and my interview also comes up in 2days from now. God bless.

She will not have any problem as regards this cos the CO will now know you filed for the right visa. Goodluck at your wife's interview.

Laughing... Bruhahahahahahahaha..

paojack, answered it perfectly...

Congrats.. I know how you feel.

Ok guys. Airtel just mailed my call history to me this morning in an attachment email. So i'll have both the Rebtel and the calls i made with Airtel as our call records for the interview. Although its just 3months call history they could give out. No need to institute a Legal action against them anymore. Lol
-
I'm waiting for a response from the embassy. I think they'll open since they are not working for Nigerian government.
-
Yes we submitted Rebtel call records for the initial filing. Yes i enclosed copy of my interview letter with the call record request to Airtel. They have no choice. They said they're working on it. Otherwise i'm going to instruct my attorney to file damages against them.
-
Despite the fact that i got a court affidavit and police record for my prepaid line, my mobile operator(Airtel), they said they're having issues with sending me the call records and my interview is next week. I have vowed to take them to court after my interview if i didn't have it before then.

National population commission accepts only Age affidavit from the High court. No other affidavit will be accepted. They don't accept notary affidavit. I had to pay more than 3k for affidavit from some standby people but it was rejected when i took it to National population commission. They asked me to go get it myself from High court. So if you have anyone around Lagos, he/she can go to Ikeja high court, its very close to General hospital Ikeja. And even the affidavit is only N250 and i paid N3K to some standby people, that's bad... When you get the age affidavit, then proceed to National population commission.., You'll need a copy of your international passport, 2 passport photographs of yourself, 1 passport photograph of anyone who'll get it for you, then you must write a letter requesting for age attestation with the following info.. Place of birth of your parents, their names, your place of birth, your name etc. If you need any other thing, let me know.
-
You have to get the age attestation from National population commission. I paid N2500 to have mine done and got it in 2weeks.. Lagos consulate accepts only age attestation from National population commission. Your local govt long birth cert is not sufficient.
-
Thanks. I'll definately call them.

I don't know if the embassy will open for operation due to the planned nationwide strike by labour union leaders in Nigeria beginning from Monday 9th Jan. Interview is next Thursday. This is not good..

Please follow an ample explanation about your case in my second post. The conclusion part is what I'm talking about.

Your wife and kid do not qualify to be interviewed because when you file, you filled being single. So any attempt for you now to say you're married with a kid would become a material misrepresentation in your case. The truth is, it's only you the embassy wants to see during the interview, otherwise, they'll say you lied about your marital status and that could lead to the denial of your visa which you don't want to see happen. Also, you didn't list any family in your DV form when you apply for the lottery.
SIMPLE SOLUTION
Go alone to your interview and obtain the visa... Then file for your family to come after you've become a citizen. That's your sure bet, otherwise you may be pursuing a deep shadow of yourself. Pls be wise..
IN CONCLUSION,
Sell your land after obtaining the visa and travel. Then try as much as possible to work in other for you to be able to sponsor your wife and kid to come. Remember you'll submit an affidavit of support which requires that they won't become a public charge when you're ready to file for them. Think about all these..

Lagos Lets collect data on the CO's

During my interview, there were 2 white guys that conducted immigrant interview while there was one white lady and another white guy that handled the non-immigrant visa.
The immigrant officer that conducted my interview is in his twenties and he is such a piece of iceberg, the other guy was much older. So you guys shld note this. He is very unprofessional and you guys should be careful of him.
The state department decided that our case be reviewed by uscis because our senator contacted them with the unprofessional judgement of the CO. So instead of our K1 to be declared expired, vermount said we were placed on review and that our k1 has not expired and to wait for their final review. So guys, pls fight on, fight! Fight!!
