    I can't believe it! We got the interview date letter from the embassy today...and the interview date is wrong! It says the 20th of September even though at the top of the letter the date it was sent clearly says the 27th of Sept. Thanks guys...

      I've sent them an email, but haven't heard back yet today. They're usually pretty prompt though.

    FINALLY! ASC scheduled for Sept 19 and CONSULAR INTERVIEW scheduled for SEPTEMBER 20! Crossing fingers and toes and ears that everything goes off without a hitch!

    Wheeeee! Our case arrived at the NVC on the 4th, and today was shipped out to the embassy!

      Call the NVC and talk to a -person-. Don't just go through the automated system. Call them as soon as you can.

      You will receive a packet from your embassy from what I understand. You can call them to see when your petition has arrived, but can't make an appointment yet.

    Just got our NOA2 letter in the mail today. Says it's been sent to the consulate, but I suppose I'll still try to call the NVC anyway?

      I don't know. Really, Monyfer up there has been waiting even longer because of background checks.

    OH GOD! I'm shaking we just got approved!! I'm so happy!!

      I have no idea what took so long for them to process my case. The RFE was simple, but maybe they decided to do a background check? I missed a question on my petition so they sent me the RFE. I'm very lucky because I'm able to spend a lot of time with my fiance overseas. We go on lots of trips together in Europe so it helps even though I was waiting so long.
