Consider it done. Its in the mail on its way back with a short and sweet note - to the point. I would have LOVED to say what a jerkoff he is BUT.....I was a good girl

1 you must go to the interview
2 the consulado will provide you a list of where you can get a DNA test. I would call now to see what you can do from here. Best wishes

In dr they will issue the visa based on the name on the passport. For example my husband, on all my forms I only put one last name, when visa was issued they issued it based on the names on the passport.

I say be as brief and to the point as possible, sometimes we can open a can of worms unintentionally, my 2 pager was highlighted and our questions seemed to be drawn from that

Additionally, not all Latins use both last names, my parents did not

I honestly feel that if this is real and you know eachother for real, you will be fine, of course review the basics...in our interview they asked about first kiss and we said 2 diffrent things...lol...he heard a few things from me regarding that! they ask every and any questions, personal questions as well, dont be embarrassed or ashamed...juat make it happen

regarding cover sheet, you should be fine, i didnt even have one
-
hey, i only put one last name on all the paperwork. when they printed the visa they put the name on the passport, both last names. I didnt have any problems and was not questioned. moral of story, stress but dont overstress this

my divorce was finalized october 6, I petitioned for luis noveber 4th, almost a month later. during our crazy interview that was not even a concern. to add to that i had petitioned for my ex husband also. with that being said every petition is different. im guessing since i the us citizen was teh one that was once married, it was looked at differently. they may look at your situation as divorced for "paper" purposes. not sure how long u should wait i will inbox you who u should reach out to who had a similar situation
best of luck
-
no. he was under age...and a totally different petition
-
all together this process is a waiting game.....expect for 5 months...but hope for sooner
-
with this process you never now...some people get it in 4 days others take up to a month....hope for the best but be prepared for the worst....mines was 1 week exactly from interview to visa in hand....we picked up at domex as well. good luck

if they even ask for it, you will get it back- i was divorced and they didnt ask me for anything......but do take copies and original in the event they ask for it
