I just wanted to know when is the longest K1 fiance approval at Vermont Service Center, have you gotten RFE after waiting this long, or got an approval? Please share your experience here... We called USCIS and emailed Vermont already, we're waiting for their reply, hopefully they will.. This month we will be reaching our seven month from the time we sent our K1 package.

Here we are...the last day of February! Here's hoping for a very productive day. C'mon VSC, let me see some approvals!!

Looks like we will make it to the 200 day wait. With Monday being a federal holiday and all. Please tell me there is a special prize for waiting this long!! Oh yeah, maybe someday I will be with my sweet'ums. Hmmmmm...I'm thinking maybe Christmas 2011??

you're not alone, my 200 days will be on March 8, am still hopeful that we'll have it sooner... i did call USCIS nothing happened let's have more patience and pray for these whole process that went easily and quickly after NOA2.

Hit our 6 months today since we sent our K1 package I called USCIS Jan.2011 and talked to HUMAN he said "no news, is good news" and to call back after 25 days to know the result, (twas yesterday Fed.15,2011) NOTHING HAPPENED!!! wanna call again today... VERMONT SERVICE CENTER how long will you process our petition? supposed to be FIFO (First IN, First OUT)

I got a touch today...hehehe, iam sueing them for harassment!!!...J/K

I received my NOA1 August 6, 2010 and my case was last touched on October 3, 2010 and as of today nothing has happened. Is there anyone else still waiting or am i the only one? Waiting for such a long time makes me feel like i am the only one and the whole process is getting really frustrating.

you are not alone, i got NOA1 on Aug.24,2010 and was touched Oct.3,2010. i called USCIS and they told me to wait until 25days on the day i called them, its gonna be on Feb.15, so let's see what they do, hopefully we will get good news this week or next..

My SO had her interview today and she passed and is now hanging around manila till she gets her visa.

and she made a very BIG fuss over the Hotel Juliano, she basically said its a horrible place.

she was asked:

How long ago did we met

How many times he visited

what was the reason for the second trip (childs baptism)

requested to see pictures of baptism (only ones he looked at)

after that she said he chatted her up telling her about New York, im guessing he was originally from queens cause he knew my area rather well, places you would only know about if you were here for a bit, and she said once he saw the pics he was most friendly to her and that even the consol next to them took notice (2 in a room ) and the girl who was interviewing thanked her because her consol was paying attention to my SO's conversation and just gave her an approval without saying much.

So thats that, god has been very good to us and i hop it keeps up so she can get here so very soon.

I called the 800.375.5283. I pushed 1 for English and then 2 for status and then 6 for lost my receipt number.(I read somewhere that this got you to a person quicker.) It worked I was talking to a person in less than 3 minutes.

I may use this to call them, thanks for posting it. I'm past 5months already, no NOA2.

I think we Aug.filers should expect our NOA2 on February.

i think so... i just want to see all July filers got theirs, and that would be a good sign for us on August filers. so sad...

I have the exact time line. My fiance will start calling on Monday though. Sending positive thoughts for quick approvals!!

Start making your phone calls and e-mails and writing to your Congress Member. We know they are going way over 5 months, but you waited patiently and played by their rules, and now it is time to make them play by their own rules too.

they set rules, they must do it... 5 months is over and there still a lot here hungry for NOA2 what they been doing there?

You can call USCIS and inquire about your case. Unfortunately, it is taking a long time to get petitions adjudicated at both VSC and CSC...

ughhh this is ridiculous as if they will give you the right answer or may give u false hope...

what now VSC? why taking this long?
