I’m a survival of the January 12 Haiti’s Earthquake. I’m in the USA since February, before my I94 expired I had apply for Deferred Action, but meanwhile I received some bad news regarding my security like if I return to my native country in the few years I might be killed or kidnapped.
I would like to know;
- If I can apply for Asylum while waiting for a Deferred Action decision?
- Will the Asylum cancel the Deferred Action application?
- Is it OK to have more than 1 application at the Immigration Office?
- Should I hire a lawyer for that?
I’m some kind of confused I need clear answers, please help me.
