  1. Hello,

I have sent my package for removal of conditions the beginning of September, shortly after I got the NOA1 and the check was cashed. However I still have notnot received any biometrics appointment letter. Now I am a little worried that something is wrong since it seems that others receive an appointment soon after the NOA. Any advice on what I could do would be appreciated. Thank you!

  2. I don't have such a thing as a IAP-66. I got a J-1 visa in my passport and 2 DS-2019 forms. The first I got with my visa back in Germany when I applied for it and on the form it is checked in a box "Does NOT apply for the 2 year residence requirement" and I got the other DS form when I extended my program for additional 9 months but on this form NO box is checked. So I dont know if the rule applies or not...

What HHR box do you mean? On my visa it just says my name, passport number, entries, annotation, issue date, exp date, visa type and class, control number, natinality, birth date, sex.

  3. Hi,

I was in the U.S. with an J-1 visa, for 1,9 years. On my first DS-2019 form it says "NOT subject to the two year residence requirement" and now I was reading in the internet that only when you extend your program you need to fulfill the 2 year residence requirement. Does anybody know if this is true? I am having my interview for my K-1 visa in 2 days and got an email today that I need to provide additional documents from my J-1 visa. Thats why it made me kinda worried if I have to stay home for 2 years or not. Please help!!!!

  4. i bring everything like sponsor letter from company, bank, and sponsor letter from him but they didnt ask at all, actually the interview very easy not like most of ppl said kinda difficult

they just asked what for going to USA, how long and stay with who, nothing else

And did you tell them you are already in the K-1 process? Or did they had this information...

  5. My first time was agust 2009, 3weeks, then decembre 2009: 8 days, february 2010: a week, march 2010: 3 months, octobre 2010: 3 months

Are you currently in the K-1 process? I dont have an answer of how long you need to wait to be able to enter again the States. You should open up a thread with your question instead of "???" so more ppl read it and I bet you get some helpful answers.

  6. haha, funny thing... my fiancee just called me and we got the hardcopy in the mail, it was stamped 22nd, now I am happy. And they just want copies of my fiancees passport to show he been to Germany ;) Thats really simple, we also gonna send them pictures of our last meeting, and the flight tickets!

Hopefully it doesnt take this long to hear something from them! At least it gives me some hope that somebody is looking at our petition!

  9. I just called. She said that csc is working on september 16th and i am still within the processing time and it wouldnt even let her submit a request.

hopefully sometime today i get my noa2.

funny, they said the same thing the second time he called, "We are still processing September 16th" - don't keep up with that BS. Plus you are out of the processing time, they have to realize that we are not sitting still and watching them doing nothing. Anyway, did you talk to a tier 1 or 2? Well, I am pretty sure we both get good news this week.
