sorry to leave everyone with no update!

my husband and i came to the US together on jan 2nd and now we're filing for his AOS because of all the problems we had with them losing his docs. more of an update to come if youre interested!

hi, i see we have pretty similar timelines but you flew through the NVC and are now at the consulate. first off, congrads, second, how did you do it? my husband and i are doing the ir-1/cr-1 through paris as well and i'd welcome any advice. thanks

hi again, sorry to bother you..quick question..yesterday i got my AOS fee and ds3032 in my email. i paid the fee without a problem but i noticed on the ds3032 that they sent me with the barcode it has an expiration date of 12/31/2006 whereas the one you can download from the website without the barcode has an expiration date of 01/31/2013..does this make a difference?

one more question though, every time i call the nvc and ask them if i can send the ds 3032 even though i havent received the iin yet they they tell me that i should wait until i receive it before sending anything..whats the difference/the pros and cons? or do they just say that for the fun of it. (sorry im the newbie here, if im a bother with all the questions, just say so! hah) thanks agai...

tomorrow will be 2 weeks so im keeping my fingers crossed...I called the nvc last friday to give them our email addresses and have been calling every day since to ask for the IIN, I'll just keep it up and hope for results. :/

seems as if youre the "expert" around here so i was wondering if youd be kind enough to help me out? my nvc case number was generated the 14th and i still havent heard anything from them about my IIN/fees/DS 3032..is this normal? i call them and they say the IIN stil isnt generated..is there anything i can do? please help, like the masses, Im stressed

i just received my nvc case number yesterday (it was received by them on oct 14th) im american and my husband is french, we're filing the i-130 ..i was wondering if you could tell me what happens next? im really new to this and dont want to mess up & want this process to move as fast as possible so he can get his visa appointment..
