    Is the USCIS office closed today? I keep getting a "call back during office hours" message when I call 1800 375 5283, even though it's office hours now!! I need help to reschedule my AOS interview, but can't reach anyone!!!

      Whooohoo! The place was hard enough to find, but I made it into the waiting area without anyone questioning the date, then suddenly the lady at the waiting counter pre-biometrics noticed it and told me I had to wait til they were through with all others who had appointments. I think the trick is not to be there around the beginning of an hour. I was serviced around 8:45am, but I showed up around 8am. I'm sure at 9am it would have been the same story....

    Whoooohooo, got biometrics appointment letter today!!!! Appt not for another month though, so may try a walk-in. anyone try walk-in at Seattle ASC?

      Congratulations! We tried a walk-in on a Monday 8AM, but we were unsuccessful. However, some have said Wednesday morning is the best time to try a walk-in. Either way, good luck if ever you decide to try.

    I entered on a B2 visa but then decided to get married, so I'll be on an expired I-94 pretty soon. Applying for AOS, you?

      When you receive your NOA1, create an account on the USCIS site; you can set up e-mail and SMS alerts throughout the rest of your journey.

      I did, thank you. I actually had the electronic notification before NOA arrived by mail, I was referring to our physical snail mailbox, since we are waiting for the biometrics appointment now. :-/
