I applied in August 2007 through the CSC.
I was just wondering if any of you guys also received such a notice or was it to say that "we mailed your green card". Mine does not say that.

Today I received this notice
On **** 2008 we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.
Does this mean it is done or I could be asked for more information ?

Yes I noticed that. Since I got my NOA1 I am assuming my form is OKAY.

I mailed out the I-751 (Rev 07/30/07)N
expires 09/30/08 on August 14. I have received my NOA1 dated 08/16/07.
http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-751.pdf...this one seems to be the latest here. You should call them and find out what is going on.

The new form also has a barcode at the bottom

Ok, here is my situation. I met my husband online in April 2004 and met him for the first time in October 2004 and subsequently in November etc. We decided to file for a K1 visa and I came to the US on a K1 visa on August 30, 2005. We were married on September 30th and I applied for my AOS end of October. I got a couple of RFEs, for my birth certificate and to get a new medical and then finally on March 27 my case was transferred to CSC. Suddenly, my husband developed a medical condition and was hospitalized and was told he had a few weeks to live. It was so sudden that we were all shocked, and as told by the doctors he passed away on April 2, 2006. On April 12, I got an email stating my green card will be sent as soon as it is ready and that my welcome letter has been mailed already.

I was asking this because of the previous post where it was mentioned about the legally separated and immediate relative.
I was married to my husband and had every intention of keeping my marriage. I am his widow now.
-
Thank you all for your advise and support. My marriage was exactly 6 months when he died. What does "legally separated" mean.
What is "legally separated" and "immediate relative" ?

My case just got approved without an interview and the GC is on its way, but I know it will not be the same once they are informed about the death. I do not have the death certificate yet.
-
Thank you all so much for your support and advise. I do appreciate it. My case has been transferred to Laguna Niguel in California and it is possible I may not have an interview.
-
Thanks once again for all your kind wishes.

Thanks for all your kind wishes. He passed away exactly after 6 months of our marriage. I am so heart broken.

Hello everyone,
This is a very sad time for me as my husband, the USC is no more. I am totally devastated. My case just got transferred to CSC and I do not know what happens next.
-
No sign of my AP either after 4-1/2 months of sending my application for AOS and AP
-
I also had to have my medical again even though it was less than a year old. So I had another medical done and the vaccination supplement completed by a civil surgeon in the US.
-
No, it has not been transferred to CSC.
-
I had my medical last May in Canada and I have been RFE'd for both a new medical and supplement. They say my file does not have the medical from my K1 visa. So anything is possible.
-
Also, since I need to send my passport application for renewal to Canada along with my current passport with my K1 visa and the I-94 stapled to it, is it okay to send, I am a bit concerned......will I get my old passport back with the visa stamp etc. Thanks

Hello canadians,
I am a K1 visa holder waiting for my AOS and my canadian passport is expiring in 2 months. How long should a passport be valid for when being interviewed for AOS or it does not matter ? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
