Yeah, that I understand. I just didn't quiet understand why my wife's sister is saying that they will give her the business visa, but would not allow them to travel with in US
May be she doesnt want to see my wife =))))

So you are saying if she gets both B1/B2, she is able to travel within United States?

Hi Everyone! Got a quick question:
My wife's sister is coming to US for business in a month. She will be in Florida for a few days on business and then wants to travel to LA to see my wife.
I am assuming she is getting some sort of a Business Visa in Russia. If that's the case, is she able to move freely within United States? I am still getting more information, but my wife is saying something about not being allowed to travel between cities within the continental United States. Can someone shed some light on this for me please?
Thank you!

Well first of all, I am not going there. We're just sending boxes to my wife's parents. Also, USPS is about $70 to $130 depending on the size and weight. FedEx and UPS are complete rip offs. $400 to ship? Are you kidding me? Greedy bastards. I could just Western Union the money and have them buy stuff there =)
But thank you for the advice!
I will check out meest. I heard they are good
Thanks!

So we need to ship a few boxes to Russia. What service is best (cheapest)?
USPS???
UPS - TOO Expensive
FEDEX - WAY TOO Expensive
Private Shipper?
Thanks!

Hi Everyone!
Need your help asap, please. My wife and I want to travel to Detroit. Her I-94 expired. So she is out of status now, I am guessing. We applied for Green Card, Work Authorization, Advanced Parole. She already had her bio-metrics taken, but we haven't received anything yet.
CAN SHE FLY OR IS THERE GOING TO BE A PROBLEM?
Thank you,
Felix

hey everyone!
so i am a bit confused on the dl for ca... what is the process?
my wife is waiting for ead and all that good stuff and is getting ready for the permit exam
once she takes and passes the permit exam, can she take the behind the wheel test right away or does she need to take lessons? i havent done this in like 16 years so i dont particularly remember.
she knows how to drive, i just don't know if this is a requirement? dmv website, just like most of their employees, doesnt make it very clear as what all the steps should be
thank you in advance,
Felix

Do you guys know if my fiancee's International Passport would be accepted? Thats all she has pretty much. We couldn't get a state ID =(
-
Didnt think this would be a problem but I am having a hard time getting the info I am looking for
1) Marriage License vs Marriage Certificate.... What is the difference?
2) How long does it take get the Certificate\Licence or whatever we need?
3) Do I just go to city hall or what? I am not religious and will not have anything religious
Would appreciate if someone could explain the process. I am much better at taking apart servers and other complicated stuff than understanding these stupid #### rules =)
Thanks

Looking forward to continuing our journey..... Green Card, Work Permit, etc...... The worst is behind and that's all that matters =)
Have a wonderful week !!!

Also, if anyone has experience with LAX. What are the steps there? She is worried that she will go to the wrong area and do the wrong thing =))))
So if anyone has experience with LAX, you notes would be greatly appreciated

So my fiancee is flying in on Wednesday, 31st, in the afternoon. Moscow > LAX.... Anyone knows how long it usually takes from disembarking to exiting the airport? I read some posts that say it takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. My fiancee read on her site that it sometimes takes 2 to 3 hours. Anyone?
Thank you in advance!

Interview was less than 10 minutes. I stayed up till 4 am and she called and its over.... She will be here on the 31st !!!
-
Well she is sending books from Moscow (Russian Post Service) and there is a "Book" discount so its going to cost between $100 - $200 to ship. And she will have two suitcases with her. We'll just pay the fee for the second piece which should be no more than $100. I don't have all the info now but there is no easy way. its going to cost me between $300 - $500 to for the extra stuff altogether
-
Yeah I agree, I dont mind paying at the airport but I was told that those ####### want you to buy the seat as well.... and put the money in their pockets..... when i was flying back, i had to shell out about 400$ for a small extra bag.... assssss holes =)
-
Thank you everyone... Its been nerve wrecking but I am cool and collective now =) Just need to figure out what to do for the next month =)
-
She will not leave her books. They are limited edition autographed books.....
Everything else I will try to get her to leave behind =)
-
Yeah... they have ridiculous rates.... I told her not to take anything but she has books that she will not part with.... i think they do have book rates on those.... we'll see.. i just dont want to get screwed on the fees..

i dont know yet but i am guessing its about 20-25kb... 45-50lbs
